Obama’s European Prostration
President Obama has had quite a busy time during his first official trip to Europe this week to attend the G20 summit. Busy bashing his own country and kissing up to Islamic countries and kings – that is.
On April 1st Obama actually bowed down to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah when greeting the tyrant at the G20 summit in London. How apropos that this occurred on April-Fools Day! Experts say that there is no protocol for Obama’s foolish behavior. In fact, bowing down to the Saudi King signifies the monarchs’ power over his subjects.
On that very same day, Obama broke protocol with the Queen of England when he gave her majesty a firm double handshake. I’m surprised he didn’t give her the shoulder-bump hug as well! For what it’s worth, Royal protocol states that you may not shake the Queen’s hand – but only lightly touch it. You’re pretty much supposed to keep your hands off the old dame completely.
Then, there were his comments during a speech in Strasbourg, France where he said that the U.S. had been arrogant and dismissive towards its European allies. Speaking to the French about arrogance, is kind of like discussing hairstyles with Donald Trump – you just shouldn’t go there.
That’s how our Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler started his trip. The way he ended it in Turkey is even more embarrassing.
Monday, Obama addressed the Turkish Parliament in what could only be called a shameless suck-up to the Muslim world.
Obama told his audience that: “The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical … in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject.” NOT and NEVER will be – huh! I wonder how much of the Muslim world has a reciprocal attitude towards us. Isn’t it puzzling how all of the peaceful “moderate” Muslims in the world seem to have so little to say about the so-called extremists?
Really Mr. Obama! Are you referring to the values of the Judeo-Christian based constitution that allows Muslims to come to our country and freely practice their Islamic faith? What Muslim nation allows for the same religious freedom towards non-Muslim faiths?
Obama then followed with this shamefully patronizing remark: “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country.”
What?
I know this is going to sound harsh, but hey – someone has to ask the politically incorrect questions!
How exactly has Islam bettered the United States, and what exactly have Muslims contributed to our country?
Where are all of the fortune 500 companies that employ thousands of people that were created by Muslims? Where are all of the technological innovations created by Muslims? How many Muslims are in the police and fire departments? I’m not looking to pick on Muslims; I would ask the same questions for Hare Krishna, but Obama didn’t flower them with phony praise. And, while the Hare Krishna may be annoying as hell, they certainly don’t have a history of violence and terrorism towards other religions and cultures.
A lot of Muslims may be nice hard-working people, but to say that they have contributed so much to our country is the same type of outrageous political pandering as when New York City Mayor, Mike Bloomberg said that illegal immigrants were the backbone of the city’s economy, and that the U.S. economy would collapse if they were deported. I’m sorry President Obama, but you’re going to have to back up your claims with something more than politically correct gobbly-goop!
I realize that when the President goes on these foreign excursions, it’s all about “diplomacy.” But, while he was speaking to the Turks, he may have mentioned his displeasure at parts of their violent history towards non-Muslims. He may have mentioned the Armenian Genocide and the atrocities committed against the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire starting in 1915. The Muslim Turks who perpetrated those heinous atrocities set an example for Adolph Hitler some twenty five years later. One and a half million Armenians were estimated to have been killed by the Turk barbarians! Not only has Turkey yet to apologize for their actions, but they outright deny the historical facts of the issue.
President Obama is very good at apologizing to Muslims for America, but he’s not too keen on seeking apologies from the Muslim world for their violent history against non-Muslim people. Who knows what the man actually believes, (I have my own ideas) but if Obama believes that kissing butt and appeasement will stop radical Islamic terror, he’s in for a huge disappointment.
So Obama’s first official trip to Europe has come to an end. He’ll soon be on Air-Farce-One heading west across the Atlantic. The mainstream media will surely tell us how successful his visit was, and how everyone loved him. Unfortunately for many of us, he’s on his way back home where he can get back to the serious business of firing CEO’s, taking over banks and car companies, regulating salaries of workers, and destroying our free-market economy.
