More Buffoonery from Biden
This past Sunday, The Vice Idiot of the United States, Joe “foot-in-mouth” Biden made yet another ridiculous statement that defies logic and common sense. So what else is new?
Biden told ABC’s This Week that the Obama administration “misread how bad the economy was.” Really now! I seem to remember that during his campaign for president, Obama and his lackeys kept saying that the economy was the worst it’s been since the Great Depression.
For all of you hard-core Obama supporters, “the great depression” started in 1929 when the stock market crashed on the 29th of October. This day has since been referred to as “Black Tuesday.” No….contrary to what you may believe, “Black Tuesday” wasn’t Election Day 2008.
During the height of the Great Depression, national unemployment peaked at close to 25%. Unemployment is now at a close to 30 year high of 9.5%. The math just doesn’t add up –does it?
If, as according to Biden, the Obama administration “underestimated” how bad the economy was, that must mean that we are now worse off than the time of the Great Depression!
During the Great Depression, there were soup and bread lines throughout the country, where destitute people would line up to get a free meal. Are there any “soup lines” forming around our country today? In my neighborhood, there are immigrants from Mexico and South America (mostly illegal) driving new Chevy Suburbans and Cadillac Escalades. Don’t believe me – ask anyone who lives in New York!
Biden of course, made sure to insert the phrase “we inherited” when describing the economy. How long after George W. Bush’s departure from the White House will these leftist scumbags be able to get away with blaming him for every problem? I guess when your biggest supporters are the chronically ignorant, you can get away with this crap indefinitely!
Obama and the Democrats are now floating the idea of a second “stimulus” package. Since the first one worked so well – why not do it again! After all, what’s another couple of trillion dollars added to the deficit?
Anyone with half a brain knew from the get-go that the first stimulus wouldn’t do a damn thing for the economy. Most of the money went to federal agencies and federal workers – not a dime went into the private sector. Where would the money from the proposed second stimulus go? Perhaps to pay off Michael Jackson’s debts!
Looking back, it would have been far better to have given the 787 billion directly to the taxpayers so they could pay off their credit card debts and pay their mortgages. At least the people who are footing the bill would have something to show for it! As it stands today, there is no evidence of any economic improvement due to the stimulus package. In fact, unemployment has gone up by about 2%. Is this Bizzaro World economic stimulus or what?
Now Obama has his Vice Imbecile go out and spin lies about not knowing how bad the economy really was. Give us a freaking break already! Stop taxing us to death, stop spending our future generations money, stop taking over private industries, leave us alone, and we just might slowly start to come out of this “worse than the great depression” recession.
