The left was right – Walmart does suck!

Walmart, the national super-store that the Liberals and organized crime labor love to hate may soon become the darling of the left-wing establishment and media. What could possibly make these angry and sometimes hysterical people forgive Walmart for all of its past transgressions?

It’s called National Healthcare Reform, or more accurately – Socialized Medicine.

Believe it or not, the evil corporate heads over at Walmart have finally seen the error of their ways, and are now supporting Obama’s national healthcare reform. They have even begun running radio ads touting their wholehearted support. I have yet to see any television commercials, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. It won’t be long now, when all of the Liberal talking-heads in the media and the White House will be using Walmart as a shinning example of corporate support for nationalizing healthcare.

Why would Walmart, once thought by many to be a shinning example of free-market capitalism, make this shocking decision?

It’s quite simple really. Walmart is first and foremost a corporation. Corporations make decisions based on what they believe is good for themselves and their stockholders. Walmart has been vilified by the left-wing establishment and the corrupt media for decades. They have now made a decision that they believe will A) save them money, and B) finally get the Liberals and the media off their backs, thus neutralizing most of the negative press they receive. I also believe that Walmart made the calculation that most of their employee’s and most of their customers are supportive of “National Healthcare Reform.”

There is also another theory that’s been going around regarding Walmart and the Obama administration cutting some sort of a backroom deal. Walmart would come out in full support of Obama’s health-care plan, and in turn, Obama would keep the unions away! This is a special concern for Walmart, especially with the impending card-check legislation right around the corner.

For all of you Obama voters; No – card-check isn’t when the deli clerk asks you for ID when you try to buy beer or cigarettes.

Whatever the reason, I’m pretty disappointed at Walmart, but then again – not really that surprised. Corporations are like many individual people; they tend to want in on perceived government goodies. If the government is offering to pay for Walmart’s 1.6 million or so employee’s healthcare, why not take the deal? I know that common sense says that Walmart along with everyone else will be hit with massive tax increases in order to pay for nationalized healthcare. However, unlike individuals and many small businesses, giant corporations like Walmart, can just raise their prices to make up for the difference!

If this proves anything, it once again deflates the myth portrayed by the media that big business is controlled and beholden to the Right. Big business usually goes where the power is, regardless of which political party is in office. They don’t usually fight City Hall, instead they make deals with City Hall. Because of this phenomenon, left-leaning governments actually prefer “big business” over small business. You see, big business is easier to control and easier to extort money from. It’s easier for small businesses to defy the government, easier for them to keep below the government’s radar. That’s one of the main reasons why hard-core Statists and Leftists despise small business!

What are the implications of Walmart’s stance on national healthcare? I believe that it may very well pave the way for other large corporations to publicly join in. There are, of course, also major implications for the America worker. To all of the liberal yuppies who voted for Obama, and who have good to excellent employer provided healthcare, you can kiss your current healthcare goodbye once Obama’s plan is signed into law!

I know that a lot of you suckers believe the Obama propaganda that claims that you will be able to keep your employer provided coverage. I’m sure you will be able to keep it; provided that you’ll be taxed on it big-time in order to pay for the people on the national system. However, it’s much more likely that your company will throw in the towel and stop offering you private healthcare altogether. All of you college educated yuppies will then have the same exact healthcare as illegal aliens and people who reside in government subsidized housing!

How do you like them apples?

Is this the “change” you voted for?

PS

I have never been in a Walmart store, and I can now guarantee that I never will!

to balance the perspective a bit, walmart standing to save money from Obama’s national health care reform does not strictly imply that there are no other reasons for their support of it. beside’s, they have good meat. =P

The Proposed Health Care Plan, will allow untold MILLIONS of People to just fly to America, and decide to stay- get a Temporary Green card, (which is really Permanent) as they can renew it annually- indefinately, and also get a Universal Health Card providing Health Care IMMEDIATELY.
Our USA will host mainly Moslems from all the Arab Countries, and we will not have to wait to be Out numbered by their Birth Rate, they will come here in droves, and Bankrupt or present system. This is the Ultimate Goal of the Leftist Socialists pushing this agenda.
HCP Page 50 Section 152 states that; “HC will be provided too ALL non US citizens, illegal or otherwise”.

Walmart take note: Pg. 126 Lines 22-25 “Employers MUST pay for part time emplyees AND their families”.

Pg.170 Lines 1-3 states that; “Any NONRESIDENT Alien is excempt from indivial taxes. (Americans will pay)

Under guise of this HCP, they have Re-written and made the Entire Constitution of the United States “VOID” and not in Effect any Longer.

People are being brain washed to just accept this Reform, with out even reading what is says!
