Elena Kagan hearings: Same ole, same ole

Elena Kagan is a left-winger who was appointed by a President who is most likely a Marxist. When she finally puts on her black robe, she will judge the cases before her through the prism of her left-wing ideology regardless of what she’s now saying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Scott Brown continues to disappoint

When Scott Brown began reading his prepared statement I was sort of surprised at how inarticulate he sounded. He stammered, stumbled, and fumbled his way through his written remarks; he sounded like Barack Obama without his teleprompter. I couldn’t help but think that he was pretty disappointing to the many Republicans who are still infected with Scott Brown fever. My infection subsided about a week to ten days after he was elected. I know, I know, he’s still one hundred times better than Ted Kennedy, but then again who isn’t?

Summertime again in NYC

There are many reasons to hate Hip-Hop. The actual music (noise) and the ridiculous wardrobes may be the least of the reasons. It’s my belief that Hip-Hop culture keeps people down; preventing many young people from reaching their potentials. It features anger, false bravado, narcissism, and confrontation over optimism, joy, and civility. Although I also despise the “hippy culture” of the 60’s and all of the current liberal assholes it produced, the hippy culture was at least educated and mostly peaceful. (Except for friends of Obama: Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, of course)

Sowell also pointed out something that I often highlight on this blog. Ignorance and apathy embolden and empower tyrannical rule.

Obama’s BP speech: a crisis is a terrible thing to waste

I really don’t know what the Administration could have done to help stop this oil leak, but I truly believe that if Obama had a secret weapon that would plug the leak he wouldn’t use it until it politically suited him. To radicals like him, the ends always justify the means. If it takes a couple of billion gallons of oil in the Gulf of Mexico destroying millions of small business to finally put an end to oil drilling once and for all, so be it!

Sports media vs. mainstream media – it's a draw!

Let’s start with Cro Cop vs. Pat Barry. From the get-go, Pat Barry was the sentimental favorite of the announcer and commentator. They played on the same ole stereotypes that only liberals and sports journalists seem to be able to get away with.

Ground zero mosque – no…we haven't forgotten!

We will never forget, even though many Americans have. We will never forget even though the evil cretins who want to build this disgraceful mosque wish we would.
