We can no longer afford to spend money like Rosie O’Donnell in a gourmet pastry shop. The lessons of Greece and Ireland are screaming to be heard. Our future generations are being bankrupted before they are even born. Our money is being devalued at an alarming rate. We can no longer afford to pay for statues of Lawrence Welk. We can no longer afford to fund studies on the social habits of bisexual musk rats. We can no longer afford to fund the reelection campaigns of 85 year old senators who can’t sit through committee meetings without a pair of Depends.

The problem is that the full body scanners aren’t at all full proof. The scanner only exposes the surface of the body; it thankfully doesn’t yet have the power to see what’s going on inside the body. The machines would not spot a tube of plastic explosives inserted into certain body orifices. Hopefully our intelligence agencies are monitoring any spikes in Vaseline sales throughout the Middle East?

When students protest hikes in education costs, the mantra often centers on the simplistic point that they are the future. Who could be against young people being educated? Who could be against investing in the future?
Obama’s former Illinois Senate seat going to a Republican! Alexi Giannoulias (D) went down in flames to Republican Mark Kirk. Giannoulias is part of the same Chicago gang of crooks that gave power to Barack Obama. Unfortunately for Giannoulias, Obama seems to have ruined the ability (at least temporarily) of corrupt Chicago politicians to get free rides into higher national office. Not to worry Alexi, you can always run for Mayor of Chicago. Oh… right, Rahm already beat you to that one. Oh well, there’s always room for another Greek Diner in downtown Chicago.
After running the Senate with the iron hand of a Middle Eastern totalitarian, Mr. Reid now want to work together. After ramming Obamacare down the throats of the American people without a single Republican vote, or Republican input, he now wants to work with Republicans. I only pray that Republicans aren’t that stupid!
