If I didn’t know any better I would probably find it odd that the vast majority of my fellow New Yorkers who are complaining about the $4 plus gasoline prices are also big time Obama supporters and Democrats. While knowing how to bitch and moan, they seem oblivious to the fact that the Democrats and Obama oppose domestic oil exploration at every turn, and that high energy prices are inseparable from the radical agenda of the progressive “green movement.” This is especially true of the “Black Community” that can find absolutely no fault in their supposed savior.
We all remember the enthusiasm of Obama supporters like Peggy Joseph at the prospects of “not having to worry about putting gas in her car.”
How’s that working out for you Peg?
Here’s a clip from our local cable news network, NY1, highlighting more New Yorkers moaning about gas prices.
Gee, I wonder how many of those interviewed are gung-ho Obama supporters?
How does 100% sound?
I have never understood how people can blind themselves to reality in order to rationalize their political ideologies. Of course, it doesn’t help when you have a corrupt mainstream media that refuses to even come close to linking the exploding price of fuel to the failed administration of Barack Hussein Obama. This is the same media that was up George Bush’s tukus when gasoline prices hit the $2 mark. Now it’s nobody’s fault! Wouldn’t you know it’s now just supply and demand economics, as this January 4th, 2011 NY Times article shamelessly attempts to explain. Read the entire pathetic article here.
Can you believe the average price per gallon on January 11th(3 months ago) was $3.12 and the price of crude oil was $91.53 per barrel compared to the current $3.76 and $109?
Of course, New Yorkers always have the privilege of paying more; gasoline prices are already over $4 and will easily reach the $5 mark by Memorial Day.
While many of my fellow New Yorkers know how to bitch and complain, they don’t know how to take responsibility for the asinine decisions they constantly make in the voting booth. Oh well, what else is new?
