The conservative anti-birther movement

Not everyone is happy about the renewed interest in the Barack Obama eligibility issue recently spurred on by none other than Donald Trump. As most people know, the issue centers around the question of whether or not Barack Obama is constitutionally eligible to hold the office of POTUS.

Originally looked into by Hillary Clinton supporters and operatives during 2007 and 2008, the eligibility issue has hung around Barack Obama like flies around crap. The main cause of this ongoing phenomenon happens to be Barack Obama himself. His background and all the documentation that goes along with it has been meticulously hidden from the public. He (Obama) has refused to release just about every document that previous presidents have released. Besides not releasing his original long form birth certificate, he has also refused to release more mundane information like his college records. Up until now, most of the information about Obama’s past has come from his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father.

Gee…it’s probably just a coincidence that Dreams from My Father (author unknown) came out in mid-1995 just as Obama began embarking on his fast-track political career. After all, doesn’t everyone write and publish their memoirs by the age of 34?

My personal theory is that Dreams from My Father was written for the purpose of giving Obama a past that would be palatable, if not inspiring, to the American public. To this day, whenever a member of the MSM speaks of Obama’s past they usually quote supposed facts from his book. Whoa…what skeptical hard-charging investigators those MSM reporters and journalist are!

It’s no surprise that Obama’s left-wing supporters threw a conniption when the rumors about Obama’s eligibility first appeared. Many screamed racism! These people (birthers) were just a bunch of bigoted white conservative rednecks who despised the fact that America elected its first black (actually half-black) president. Others claimed that these people were motivated by Islamophobia. After all, this president called himself Barack Hussein Obama.

Almost immediately, the leftist Obama sycophants were joined by people who called themselves conservatives; the very people who staunchly opposed the election of Barack Hussein Obama. The big conservative talk radio superstars (we all know who they are) shied away from the issue like Dracula shies away from the sunrise, as did the right-wing zealots over at Fox News Channel.

Now, over three years later, with even more questions arising in regards to Obama’s shadowy past and lack of transparency, things haven’t changed much. Rush Limbaugh now alludes to Obama’s eligibility once in a while – mostly through the use of satire. While Sean Hannity continues to play it safe, he now occasionally has guests on his TV show that openly question Obama’s eligibility. Bill O’Reilly however, still manages to dismiss and ridicule anyone who raises the issue. O’Reilly has even went as far as to claim that he has proof that Obama was born in Hawaii. Curiously, he has yet to share this proof with his viewers.

Besides the above mentioned big boys, other conservative personalities have also come out very strongly against the now-called Birther Movement. Author and radio show host Michael Medved seems to be more annoyed with the “birthers” than he is with Obama’s policies. Medved has called the questions regarding Obama’s eligibility “sleazy”, and “destructive to the Republican Party and the Conservative movement.” Ann Coulter has also been consistently critical of the birthers; mocking them any and every chance she gets. Glenn Beck, who has spoken to the point of tears of the vast conspiracies involving Obama, Soros, and the new world order, seems to think Obama and his puppet masters would do just about anything to “crash the system” and push One-World Marxist governance on humanity, but somehow the thought of Obama deceiving the public about his eligibility is way, way beyond the pale.

The fact is that the conservatives in question have yet to give any substantial reasons as to why this issue is so absurd. I have yet to hear Ann Coulter’s theory as to why Barack Obama would spend over a million dollars to prevent his original birth certificate from being released to the public. I have yet to hear Ann Coulter’s theory as to why Obama’s social security number comes from her home state of Connecticut. Some in Coulter’s corner have even gone as far as to dream up a conspiracy to counter the conspiracies supposedly woven by the looney birthers. It goes something like this: Obama purposefully held back showing his birth certificate, and other things, then spent over a million dollars in legal fees to keep it hidden only to bide his time and pull the birth certificate out of his back pocket during a 2012 presidential debate. That’s quite a theory!

I don’t at all doubt that Obama’s people would create a forgery and try to pass it off as the original, but fortunately there are many document experts who would easily be able to expose it as a fraud.

Many Republicans have also used the distraction argument as a reason to shut the birthers up. People like Michael Medved and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus have both claimed that the eligibility issue is a distraction from the real issues of the day – the important issues!  That argument is as shallow as Kim Kardashian! Again, why don’t Michael Medved, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, and other anti-birther commentators at least give us some plausible theories as to why Obama has kept the vast majority of his life a secret? Instead of indignantly barking orders, why not clearly explain to the naive conspiracy minded birthers why the questions they are asking are so off base, and so hurtful to the Conservative movement and the Republican Party?

While they’re at it, the Conservative/Republican anti-birthers should refrain from calling a large portion of the electorate kooks, and telling them they should just shut up! Browbeating and mocking people who disagree with you in order to get them to shut up is usually a left-wing ploy. Obama himself has tried to shut up Rush Limbaugh, The Tea Party, Fox News, and others. Now, people who have legitimate questions as to who the person occupying the Oval Office really is are being told to be quiet by both the left and the right.

The constitution either matters or it doesn’t. Conservatives/Republicans can’t shout from the rooftops about the erosion of the U.S. constitution while at the same time insinuating that constitutional eligibility to serve as POTUS means nothing. It is my theory that this is exactly what the conservative anti-birthers believe – that this is a trivial issue not worth the fight. They just don’t have the chutzpah to come out and say it! Instead, they just arrogantly tell others to shut up and behave themselves.

This author sincerely believes that the entire truth about Barack Hussein Obama will eventually come out. We are far removed from the time when a president and his family can take not-so-secret secrets to their graves; Camelot is no longer. It may very well be when he’s long gone from office, but he won’t be able to hide the truth indefinitely. I also believe that this truth will be in stark contrast to what we’ve been spoon-fed all of these years. When this happens a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum as well as the MSM will have a lot of splainin to do.

Well dittohead, you got what you wanted. Barack Hussein Obama (I threw in his middle name just to satiate your raving lunatic hatred for the man) released his long form birth certificate.

And what did it prove that you didn’t already know?

That’s right…NOTHING!

You sir, are a nutjob, and a racist one at that.

I hope you get the help you need.

Hey Frank,

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for reading my blog. You must be a glutton for punishment – a real masochist! You should know better than to call me a racist. That has as much affect as spray painting a black wall with dark blue paint.

Hey, blue on black, tears on a river
Push on a shove it don’t mean much
Joker on jack, match on a fire
Cold on ice a dead man’s touch
Whisper on a scream doesn’t change a thing

Kenny Wayne Shepherd…Blue on Black
