Warning to Catholics: Don’t trust Obama

Well whaddya know! Obama reversed course on his HHS contraception mandate when he saw the firestorm it created among the nation’s Roman Catholics. What a brave and principled man, that Obama!

What Roman Catholics need to understand is that this supposed turnaround would never, ever have happened if this was Obama’s second term instead of an election year. He knows he needs the same, or more, support from the Roman Catholic electorate as he received in 2008. Also, Catholics should read the fine print on Obama’s supposed reversal because the devil is in the details. The only thing that has changed is the wording of the original mandate making it a bit more palatable for the church.

Note to Roman Catholics: fool you once, shame on Obama; fool you twice, shame on you!
