A real shocker: Actor Samuel L. Jackson voted for Obama because of skin color
Drudge has a link to a TMZ piece that highlights a recent Samuel L. Jackson interview with Ebony Magazine. Just imagine a magazine called Ivory, or a TV station called the (WET) White Entertainment Channel. But I digress.
Part of the interview that appears on TMZ has Mr. Jackson openly admitting that the only reason he voted for Obama is because Obama was black. He even says that Obama’s message meant nothing to him.
I want to personally congratulate Mr. Jackson on his blunt honesty. It’s about time a black person admitted what most people already instinctively know.
During the interview Mr. Jackson rationalized that other people also vote for people that “look like them.” I wish Mr. Jackson, in his infinite wisdom, would please explain how Obama won the 2008 election even though blacks only make up around 13% of the population. The way I see it, a lot of honkeys and crackas must have pulled the lever for Mr. Obama – no? The undeniable fact is that “white people” are pretty much the only ones that vote for people that don’t share their racial and/or ethnic backgrounds.
If all this straight talk about race is making you a bit uncomfortable, or even queasy, by all means please leave this page immediately. Don’t worry, I won’t be offended. And don’t bother protesting to my boss and advertisers because I don’t have either. Freedom of speech and thought practiced by a sovereign citizen of the United States who doesn’t work for the corporate media and who isn’t interested in running for public office – sucks, doesn’t it?
Hey, when people like Samuel L. Jackson open up the door, I’m more than happy to step through it. After all, wasn’t it Attorney General Holder who called Americans cowards for being afraid to talk about race?

P.S. By the way, does anyone believe for a second that any of Mr. Jackson’s multiple homes (I’m sure) are located anywhere near the “hood?” No, Mr. Jackson surely resides in posh neighborhoods populated by rich whiteys.
