Yesterday the Commerce department announced that the U.S. GDP (that’s Gross Domestic Product, for all you Obama voters and OWS geniuses) grew by only a measly 2.2% for the first quarter of 2012. So-called analysts predicted the growth to be around the 3% mark for this period.

We keep on hearing from the Obama regime and their media lapdogs that the economy is on the rebound and that we just need to reelect BHO for another term in order for his brilliant economic policies to continue working.
The only Americans that aren’t really affected by the Obama economy are the multi-millionaires and billionaires and federal government workers. Otherwise, everyone’s standard of living and purchasing power is sinking faster than an elephant (or Rosie O’Donnell) in a pond of quicksand.
Meanwhile, the left-wing media (aka mainstream media) is looking for every tidbit of news, real or invented, to push their false narrative of a recovering economy. And as the economy continues to sputter in the coming months before the election, they’ll become more and more desperate in their reporting propagandizing.
Pretty soon we’ll be seeing NBC News reporting on a person in The Bronx going into a bodega and purchasing a snickers bar as proof that the economy is growing.
Besides the very obvious economic consequences of BHO’s policies, there are also social consequences involved. Not only are the evil corporations putting things off (hiring, expanding, purchasing, etc.), but everyday Americans are also putting their lives on hold –just treading water. My wife and I have some big plans for the future, but we’ve been putting things off because of the uncertainty of our nation’s future and the possibility of four more years of BHO.
I’ve also noticed that people in general are angrier, more impatient, less trusting, on edge, and yes, cheaper. All anyone who has anything wants to do is hold on to what they have. While this may be a natural and logical reaction, it winds up hurting small businesses and entrepreneurship, not to mention new college grads, and others, looking for a job.
But the social aspects of this horrific recession are no accident, I believe. BHO and his Marxist Alinskyites want people to feel desperate. They want the citizenry angry, not only at the rich and big corporations, but at their fellow citizens and neighbors. It’s easier for a governments and/or tyrants to dupe people and make them do what they want under these circumstances. It’s also far easier to make scapegoats of certain individuals and/or industries.
That’s why BHO has purposely, I believe, ruined the economy while at the same time promising to save it.
Expecting BHO to fix this economy is much like expecting a mob hitman to shoot his target in the leg then call for an ambulance. It defeats the entire purpose of the original plan. Whether Mitt Romney is the ideal candidate to face BHO or not, the first step to a possible economic recovery is to make sure that BHO and his slimy Marxists are unceremoniously booted from the White House. Only then can we even begin to work on solutions to the dire economic problems we face.
