Watching what happened yesterday was one of the most difficult things in my life. I say that because I know what the consequences are, and will be. If things would have went the other way we would have at least begun to turn in the right direction. I really don’t know if changing course is possible anymore.
The only thing that makes this easier is knowing that I’m not alone. Millions of my fellow citizens stood together yesterday against this abomination. I couldn’t be more proud of the millions of patriots that went out and supported Governor Romney even though he may not have been their number one choice.
But you knew how horrific the alternative was, and now is, so you stepped up and did what you could.
On the other hand, I can’t tell you how disgusted I am at those who voted for this disgrace. He’s yours now – you own him. You people are now responsible for the future of our nation and for your futures. You can’t cry and blame someone else anymore. You wanted this, you got it now!
There’s not much else we can do now except stand together. We learned last night that there are at least 57 million of us, and that’s a number that can’t be easily ignored.
I stand by my fellow patriots in Texas, Idaho, Montana, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, and wherever they may be. And I especially stand by my fellow patriots in New York State and New York City. In my home county of Queens Obama won by a tally of 78.8% t0 20.3%. In our neighboring Brooklyn (Kings County) Obama won by a tally of 81.4% to 17.6%.
Although we were overwhelmed, as usual, I’m extremely proud of my fellow NYC conservatives and republicans. I know it isn’t easy being in this type of minority and living among the millions of zombies that blindly support the other side. Many on our side have fled long ago, but some of us chose to stay because this is home for us.
So what do we do now?
The answer to that question is simple. I don’t know!
During the afternoon yesterday while walking in the park with our dog, my wife and I had a short by serious conversation on what our future plans will be if BHO got reelected. I already had a sick feeling in my stomach back then and it was only about four o’clock. We strategized that we will need to seriously expedite some things we are currently working on before BHO really gets into the meat of his second term agenda, and before the really bad parts of Obamacare start kicking in. Where our future will take us is now a complete unknown. It is quite possible that we may not be able to continue living in NY for the next four years – but time will tell.
The only advice that I can give to the 57 plus million who stood up against this budding tyranny is to just work harder than you did before. Use your smarts and ingenuity to soften the blows we know are coming. Then all we can do is wait for our next opportunity.
But in the meantime we have to keep living, keep moving forward. There’s nothing else to do.
