This so-called teacher, David Suker, hasn’t shown up to work five times in the past two weeks due to his participation with his fellow OWS idiots. I actually see this as a good thing! The less this clown is in the classroom, the better for the students, and for society in general.

If anyone still has any uncertainty as to why young people (especially in NY) are coming out of school so dumb, this is a big part of the answer. Teachers like Mr. Suker have been busy indoctrinating our children instead of teaching them; just as his college professors did their best to indoctrinate him. But hey, indoctrinating people like Mr. Suker isn’t that hard. Lack of free thought, curiosity, and intelligence are the foundations of a good dupe. Unfortunately for the future of western civilization, leftist teachers and professors have long ago learned to play on the fragile egos and low self esteem of their students.

According to the NY Post, Mr. Sucker takes in a salary of 81 grand a year. While that may not be in the top 1% of wage earners, it is certainly in the top 10 or 15%. Taking into account summer vacation, and all the other holidays and such, this is working probably a little more than 9 months a year. Perhaps Mr. Suker should spread some of his own wealth around. Why should he get paid more than the janitor who cleans the school he works in? Fair is fair – right?

Hoping that this clueless buffoon would get fired, or even severely disciplined for his actions is an exercise in futility. It’s kind of like hoping the Chicago Cubs will become World Series champions before the next millennium.

You gotta love those teachers unions!

The report showed these students holding signs and chanting slogans in opposition to Mayor Bloomberg’s budget cuts. The blissfully ignorant students really seemed to be enjoying themselves; protesting something they know little to nothing about is probably a lot more fun than their everyday schoolwork.

So far, New York 1 hasn’t posted this story and video on their website. If and when they do, I’ll link to it.

This story further highlights the sickening trend of using young students as political pawns. It goes without saying that this tactic is used exclusively by the Left. They fill the student’s still undeveloped brains with left-wing propaganda, and then send them out in front of their MSM allies. How cute!

The proposed budget cuts would close down some Queens libraries, supposedly cause the lay-offs of approximately 500 library workers, and cause other local libraries to close down on Saturdays. Boo freakin hoo!

We’re supposed to believe that these students spend their Saturdays in the library? Give me a break already! Predominantly, most public libraries are filled with adults and senior citizens who have a lot of free time on their hands and nothing much to do. They are also a place where losers go and use the computers to surf the internet for God knows what. If I were to guess, I would say that over 95% of NYC public school kids have a computer in their home. The claim that these students need the library, especially on Saturdays, in order to complete their schoolwork is a crock of dog manure.

As usual, it’s not solely about the children, as the leftists claim. It never really is. Rather, it’s about the public employees and their unions. It’s about power; about keeping the public sector (government) as big and fat as possible. Indoctrinating students to insure that they grow up to be well behaved robots who will march to the orders of their Marxist masters is just an added bonus.

I can only hope and pray that the rest of the country isn’t like NYC. If it is, the United States as we know it will soon cease to exist.

The comment was obviously said in jest – tongue in cheek. But as we all know, liberals have absolutely no sense of humor unless the joke contains the word Bush in it. Predictably, some of the parents attending the meeting took offence at Ms. Black’s remark.

I’m actually in agreement with Chancellor Black’s statement – sort of. Perhaps if illegal immigrants would practice more birth control, our public school system would be far less crowded. Anyone who doesn’t have their head stuck way up their tuckus knows that our (NYC) public school system is overrun by anchor-babies. This hasn’t happened overnight. This is the effect of 30+ years of our federal government refusing to secure our borders. It’s also 30+ years of Sanctuary City policies.

If you just moved to NYC and doubt what I’m saying, just walk by an elementary or intermediate school in the morning, or when the kids are being let out. The vast majority of students will be of Hispanic and Middle Eastern background. (I know..I know..I’m a rabid racist for noticing such things.) If you listen to the mothers and kids conversing, you most likely won’t hear them speaking English. That’s a fact! I see and hear it almost every day.

Not only does the propagation of anchor-babies do damage to our sovereignty and culture, but it also does great damage to the finances of the municipalities in which they reside. In essence, the taxpayers of NYC and other sanctuary cities pay through the nose so the children of parents who have no right to be here can get a free education. When you add in the cost of food stamps and Medicaid, you’re now talking about some real money.

Isn’t America a great place?

The story is about an 18 year old spoiled twit by the name of Kayla Gerdes. This little monster was apparently on her way to court to answer a charge of grand larceny for stealing jewelry from her own mother when someone inconveniently got in her way.

I can’t help but to think of a famous Rodney Dangerfield line from the movie Caddyshack where he sarcastically tells Spaulding, the spoiled teenage son of Judge Smails, that he’s a ‘nice boy’ while muttering under his breath ‘now I know why tigers eat their young.’

Anyway, this 18 year old suspected thief was speeding to her court hearing in Hempstead, Long Island when she lost control of the van she was driving and ran over and killed a 69 year old woman who happened to be doing some gardening on her front lawn.

After the crash, the brat attempted to flag down passing cars, not to help the crushed victim, but to drive her to court because she didn’t want to miss her hearing.

Hold on, it only gets sicker.

Later when being questioned by investigators she told them “The thing that made me not feel so bad was, she was old.” This monster also told police that she wanted to see a newspaper or news broadcast to “see what I look like.”

Is it any wonder that this teenage ne’er-do-well prima donna has this sickening attitude?

The education system, the news media, and left-wing politicians have done all they can to help create these young miscreants. In today’s day and age being young has become an accomplishment; an accomplishment that young people brag about! They are not only coddled in school, but they are continuously reminded of how special they are, and how they know more than their dumb parents. Their egos are fueled by the ridiculous self-esteem curriculum where they learn that they’re the center of the universe, and groomed to become narcissistic, self indulgent adults. They’re constantly being told that ‘they are the future.’ Wow….how profound! As if everyone who lived and died before them wasn’t! As if people who are now in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s aren’t part of the future – enough already….please!

Is it any wonder that this pathetic young woman believed that her actions weren’t that bad because her victim was 69 years old?

I’m all for self confidence, but I believe that young people should also learn about humility, respect for others, and work ethic. Instead they’re often used as sponges to soak up and then distribute left-wing propaganda. The Saul Alinsky modeled Obama administration is great at using young people a pawns by kissing their butts, overinflating their egos, and then turning them loose on their parents and the rest of the adult world.

The education system now seems wholly based on phony self esteem rather than scholastic results. Morbidly obese children are told that they’re beautiful, and that it’s OK to be fat. Is it any wonder why they don’t even try to lose weight? Instead, they show off their fat guts and protruding love handles by wearing clothing that’s too small and too tight. When I was going to school, you got picked on for being fat – but it made kids lose weight! Shame, although sometimes a rough way to learn, is essential to people changing destructive habits and attitudes. Unfortunately, shame has been banished from our vocabulary as well as our society! Instead, today’s educators only tell their students how great they are. Everyone gets to be student of the month because it would make the dumb students feel bad and the smart students feel guilty. Constructive criticism by both teachers and parents has gone the way of the T-Rex.

The education system has also done everything it can to undermine the authority of parents. Children who are too immature to be responsible are taught about their ‘rights’ thus helping to remove any fear of punishment or discipline from their parents. When I was a young punk, I never got into big trouble or did drugs in part because I was afraid of my father. No….I don’t believe in abusive punishment, but there has to be a balance between coddling children and disciplining them. A society can’t exist when children and teenagers are on the top of the pecking order with adults on the bottom.

As you can tell, I’m very passionate about this subject. I’m sick and tired of all the Kayla Gerdes’s of the world. I witness their ‘world revolves around me’ behavior every day on the streets, subways, and on the roads. However, I blame the adults first. I blame the teachers, the parents, the television producers, and I blame the far-left of the political spectrum which benefits from young people being egotistical, self-absorbed, narcissistic, and ignorant of how the world really works.

This little psycho, Kayla Gerdes, is just a symptom of a disease that can potentially be fatal to the future of this great country. The only way this catastrophe can be averted is if adults take back the responsibilities that we’ve passed on to the government and media. We can’t ask our kids to grow up if we don’t do it first!

This mob of ignorant punks was spurred on by none less than the University’s provost and vice president, Francois Houle – Sacre Bleu!!

According to the Sun, Houle had sent Coulter a letter suggesting she “brush up on the limits of free speech in Canada, adding that promoting hatred could lead to criminal charges.”

I guess it should be somewhat reassuring to know that we (United States) don’t have a monopoly on Universities and Colleges that make Joseph Stalin look like a champion of free speech. I guess it should be equally reassuring to know that American youth don’t hold the patent on stupidity, arrogance, gullibility, conformity, and narcissism.

Are there anymore people under the age of thirty who actually love and understand freedom? Where are the young people who hate political correctness and resent being told what to think? Where are the young people who love America and the values it was founded on, and are not afraid to admit it?

I know you’re out there, but like the mysterious Muslim moderate, you have to speak up and show your faces in order to make a difference. It’s time to step up and be noticed; believe me, you won’t be sorry. Much like the American GI’s who liberated the Europeans from the Nazis, you’ll be welcomed as heroes and liberators by the vast majority of Americans.

Come on – we know you’re out there!

Note: I realize that there are thousands upon thousands of young people who believe in freedom and believe in the ideals that made America great. They are the young people serving in the U.S. Military in Iraq, Afghanistan, and all over the world. To you we are always grateful.

The sickening performance was recorded in February as part of a Black History Month curriculum at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington Township, New Jersey. Anyone with even a moderate knowledge of world history can’t help but be reminded of the infamous Hitler Youth during the era of Nazi Germany. People who believe that this display was cute or harmless are either dopes or left-wing radical Obamanites.

For decades now, the Left has had a target on the youth of America. They operate on the idea that the easiest way to change our society is by indoctrinating the country’s youth with their Statist/Marxist propaganda. This has been going on since the 1960’s and has progressively gotten bolder and more extreme. The students who were indoctrinated during the sixties, seventies, and eighties, are now teaching today’s children. Rather than using implied subtleties, this generation of educators seem to be far more aggressive and open in pushing their radical progressive agenda.

The left-wing apologists in the media are already defending the incident as an innocent display of respect for the office of the president. The fact is that children of that age have yet to develop their own opinions are highly susceptible to the influence of teachers. We all know that the very same media which pooh-poohs this incident would be going bonkers if this were done for a conservative president. This video clearly shows that this wasn’t just an innocent act to honor our current president. The song is clearly political and is peppered with specific progressive talking points that one would expect to hear in a Democrat campaign commercial.

Today, the ultra-liberal public education establishment is emboldened by the radical Obama administration. They have their guy in office and see it as an opportunity to speed up the process of indoctrination. They are also ready, willing, and able to attack anyone who questions their methods and motives. In this hyper-political age of Obama, even childhood has now become politicized.

Regardless of one’s political affiliations and beliefs, we should all agree on letting children be children and not using them as pawns. Unfortunately, in the minds of the hard-left, the ends always justify the means.

According to the Obama administration, he will tell them about the importance of education and challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning.

Excuse me if I sound like I’m out of touch, but isn’t that what parents are for?

The Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, had the following message for school administrators and teachers.

“This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation’s school children about persisting and succeeding in school. We encourage you to use this historic moment to help your students get focused and begin the school year strong. I encourage you, your teachers, and students to join me in watching the President deliver this address on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.”

Awww……isn’t that touching!

Before the Speech:
• Teachers can build background knowledge about the President of the United States and his speech by reading books about presidents and Barack Obama and motivate students by asking the following questions:
Who is the President of the United States?
What do you think it takes to be President?
To whom do you think the President is going to be speaking?
Why do you think he wants to speak to you?
What do you think he will say to you?
• Teachers can ask students to imagine being the President delivering a speech to all of the students in the United States.  What would you tell students?  What can students do to help in our schools?   Teachers can chart ideas about what they would say.
• Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor? Why is what they say important?

 
During the Speech:
• As the President speaks, teachers can ask students to write down key ideas or phrases that are important or personally meaningful.  Students could use a note-taking graphic organizer such as a Cluster Web, or students could record their thoughts on sticky notes.  Younger children can draw pictures and write as appropriate.  As students listen to the speech, they could think about the following:
What is the President trying to tell me?
What is the President asking me to do?
What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?
• Students can record important parts of the speech where the President is asking them to do something. Students might think about: What specific job is he asking me to do?  Is he asking anything of anyone else? Teachers? Principals? Parents? The American people?
• Students can record any questions they have while he is speaking and then discuss them after the speech.  Younger children may need to dictate their questions.

After the Speech:
• Teachers could ask students to share the ideas they recorded, exchange sticky notes or stick notes on a butcher paper poster in the classroom to discuss main ideas from the speech, i.e. citizenship, personal responsibility, civic duty.
• Students could discuss their responses to the following questions:
What do you think the President wants us to do?
Does the speech make you want to do anything?
Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?
What would you like to tell the President?
• Teachers could encourage students to participate in the Department of Education’s “I Am What I Learn” video contest.  On September 8th the Department will invite K-12 students to submit a video no longer than 2 min, explaining why education is important and how their education will help them achieve their dreams.  Teachers are welcome to incorporate the same or a similar video project into an assignment. More details will be released via www.ed.gov.

Extension of the Speech:  Teachers can extend learning by having students
• Create posters of their goals.  Posters could be formatted in quadrants or puzzle pieces or trails marked with the labels: personal, academic, community, country.  Each area could be labeled with three steps for achieving goals in those areas. It might make sense to focus on personal and academic so community and country goals come more readily.
• Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president.  These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by the teacher to make students accountable to their goals.
• Write goals on colored index cards or precut designs to post around the classroom.
• Interview and share about their goals with one another to create a supportive community.
• Participate in School wide incentive programs or contests for students who achieve their goals.
• Write about their goals in a variety of genres, i.e. poems, songs, personal essays.
• Create artistic projects based on the themes of their goals.
• Graph student progress toward goals.

 
This insanity is straight out of the Kim Jong-il playbook! It’s nothing more than a cynical attempt to use the education system to indoctrinate the children of the United States. Sadly, most teachers and school administrators (especially in New York) are more than happy to be useful idiots for Obama and the hard-left.

I can already see the networks interviewing some of these teachers who will undoubtedly gush at the ability of their omnipotent president to inspire the children. Today, while listening to some local talk-radio, I heard calls from parents who not only don’t see the problem with this, but actually think it’s a good idea. God help us!

Make no mistake about it; the hard-left will stop at nothing in their attempts at permanently changing the fabric of our great republic. Like many other totalitarian governments throughout history, they target the youth with their enticing propaganda. They will use whatever means necessary to destroy what’s left of our democratic free-market system and replace it with a Marxist oligarchy.

If anyone thinks that this is just hyperbole, they better think again!
