However, this past Saturday Jones did a complete 180 during his interview with the BBC.

Many rational free-thinking people realized long ago that science has very little to do with the global warming movement. I have always looked at Global Warming as a strange combo comprised of a left-wing political movement mixed with a religious cult.

For all of us who never bought the BS that an evolving mankind was the main cause of global warming and the destruction of the planet, we’re pretty much well on the path to total vindication. The phony house of cards built on Marxism, public ignorance, and media corruption has slowly but surely fell apart over the past several months. You almost have to feel a little sorry for the political left; decades of propaganda, lying, cheating, and bribing all seems to have been for naught.

Over the weekend one of the golden boys of “climate change” science fessed up to the BBC and basically admitted that his research has been a total sham. Professor Phil Jones was the director of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit. The CRU is the corrupt organization that was rocked by the Email-gate, or Climate-gate scandal in late November of 2009 when hackers broke into the organization’s e-mail accounts. It was discovered that researchers, including Jones, were “fudging” their data in order to support the man-made climate change theory. Jones resigned from his directorship shortly after Email-gate/Climate-gate became a big story.

After Professor Jones resigned from his post at the CRU, he continued to defend the group’s research claiming that the incriminating e-mails didn’t disprove their research. However, this past Saturday Jones did a complete 180 during an interview with the BBC.

Some of Jones’s new admissions are:

Conceding that the climate may have been hotter during the medieval times.

That his record keeping is “not as good as it should be” and that he has trouble keeping track of information.

That there hasn’t been any significant warming since 1995.

Some say that Jones is now coming clean in order to save what little reputation he still has in the scientific community. He probably sees the writing on the wall and wants a chance to be on the right side of the issue.

Although the global warming crowd is back on their heels, they aren’t giving up that easy. In the aftermath of the recent snowstorms that have plagued the entire eastern part of the United States, the Global Warmers attempted to blame the record snowfall on what else… global warming. What a powerhouse of an intellectual argument – tails I win – heads you lose!

It wasn’t long ago that one of the Godfathers of the extreme environmental movement, Robert Kennedy Jr., wrote a column for the Los Angels Times (9/24/08) where he blamed global warming for the lack of snow in the Washington D.C. area. He lamented the times that he and his brothers and sisters used to build igloos in their backyard and go ice-skating on Washington’s C&O canal. These childhood memories supposedly proved that the earth is warming and that man is the main culprit.

A couple of weeks ago Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas were buried by over two feet of snow. Now the Global Warmers contradict their beloved Robert Kennedy Jr. and blame the snowfall on………that’s right – global warming!

The global warming movement is in such turmoil that they no longer care how stupid they sound. They are so desperate that they’ll now say just about anything in order to defend their untenable positions. They’re still confident that their old friends in the corrupt mainstream media will give credence to their dishonest and illogical ramblings.

Why are the Global Warmers so desperate in clinging to their stance on man-made global warming?

The political leaders cling because they understand that global warming is an express path to implementing their Socialist/Marxist agendas. Some in the business world cling to global warming because they stand to make billions of dollars from it. GE (General Electric) is a prime example of that. Wall Street is another example; they would rake in billions from the proposed Cap & Trade legislation being pushed by Obama and the Democrats.

How about the average rank and file believers of Global Warming?

This part would probably be best analyzed by a professional in the mental health sciences industry. Why would well-to-do yuppies cling to the false theory of man-made global warming when their lifestyles would be most affected by global warming legislation and regulation? In fact, it’s kind of funny, but these same people absolutely love it when a real warm day appears in the middle of the winter. I know because I live and work amongst them! After such a day, they’ll glowingly talk about how great the weather was – how warm it was. Shouldn’t a warm day during the middle of winter be upsetting to them if they’re in fact true believers of global warming?

Another psychological phenomenon affecting the rank and file Global Warmer is the disturbing fact that they so angrily react to what should be good news. If one genuinely fears that global warming is destroying the planet, why then wouldn’t one be ecstatic about new facts or research that seriously questions the global warming hypothesis? Why do these people react to news that should be welcomed as positive with rage and anger? Shouldn’t they be relieved? It’s kind of like reacting with anger to the fact that a second and third medical opinion has determined that you aren’t suffering from terminal lung cancer after all. This is where the religious cult aspect of the global warming movement comes in. These people react the same way that religious zealots react to someone questioning their beliefs. It’s like cult members reacting to proof that their leader is a fraud; if adequately brainwashed, the cult members will blindly defend their cult leader at all costs regardless of indisputable proof or logic.

As far as global warming goes it’s not Charles Manson or Jim Jones, but rather our education system and media. For over a couple of decades now, children and young adults have been indoctrinated by their teachers and college professors. These views have also been blindly pushed by the media and the entertainment industry. Students who dare question this indoctrination are often humiliated and vilified by their teachers and fellow students. Many times it’s easier to go along to get along then to rock the boat. When these young people grow to adulthood, many retain these beliefs, often by default.

Unfortunately, it won’t matter to hard-core “believers” and radical leftists like Obama and most of the Democrats in Congress what the research does or doesn’t show. The Obama administration is hell-bent on ramming through some sort of “Climate Change” initiative. If they can’t do it through Cap & Trade legislation, they’ll do it through the EPA and by use of executive orders. These Statists, Liberals, Socialists, Progressives, Marxists, etc. know that radical environmentalism is the lynchpin of their movement to control economies as well as individuals.

Make no mistake – the true color of the Green Movement is and always has been Red.

Unlike the religion of Global Warming, Roman Catholicism has been in existence for 2000 years. Yet, on New Years Day the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI used the traditional New Year address to join forces with the extreme environmental movement. His comments must have had Al Gore doing cartwheels.

Record cold and snowfall is being reported throughout the planet. Places that haven’t seen snow in decades have now been turned into winter wonderlands. Miami, Florida is experiencing the coldest weather in a decade with temperatures dropping to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. A little north in the Orlando area, temperatures have dipped to 21 degrees Fahrenheit. The Midwest is being hit by record low temperatures and snow accumulation with no relief in sight.

Now I don’t expect Al Gore and all of the other phony Global Warming hoaxers to change their tunes. I also don’t expect the brainwashed lemmings attending major American universities to open their minds and eyes to reality either. The Left has successfully managed to turn environmentalism and global warming (now climate change) into a radical religion which can’t be reasoned with or disproved by science.

Citing the recent Copenhagen Climate Conference, Pope Benedict said that “action at a personal and community level was just as important to save the environment.” He went on to say: “an objective shared by all, an indispensable condition for peace, is that of overseeing the earth’s natural resources with justice and wisdom.” He called for people to alter their lifestyles for the sake of the environment.

According to Reuters, last month the Pope sent a letter to heads of state and international organizations calling for rich nations to take responsibility for the environmental crisis and to shed consumerism. Gee…that sounds like the gibberish that would come out of the mouth of your typical American leftist college professor.

Is it me, or is the Pope beginning to sound a lot like Barak Obama, Van Jones, Hugo Chavez, and Fidel Castro?

As a person who was raised in the Roman Catholic faith, and as a liberty-loving free market capitalist, I’m outraged at the Pope’s remarks and at the Vatican’s slow but steady march towards one-world socialism. This is one of the reasons that I fled the Catholic Church long ago and never looked back. I was also turned off by the dreary sermons and its obsession with suffering and guilt. Isn’t Christianity supposed to be inspiring and uplifting? Anyway, I digress.

The fact is that the Catholic Church has become a steady proponent of Big Government. The Church has taken traditional left-wing stances on immigration, welfare reform, global warming, and now, universal healthcare. Reason tells you that if it weren’t for the abortion issue, the Catholic Church would surely be a favorite among left-wing liberals. The Church will tell you that their stances are based on Christian doctrine. I contend that they’re mostly based on Church economics. The Church is in favor of open borders with Mexico and amnesty for Mexican illegal immigrants because they want and need the new Catholic customers. If Mexico was filled with Jews instead of Catholics, I very much doubt that the Church would be so enthusiastic about open borders and amnesty. The Church was also against the sweeping welfare reform passed during the 1990’s. Why? Because the more people rely on government welfare, the less people will rely on them. Before the Great Society the Church bore a large brunt of the burden in helping the poor.

I know that some will say that the Catholic Church under the leadership of Pope John Paul II helped Reagan and Thatcher bring down communism. I contend that the Church was never so much opposed to the economic aspects of communism, but rather to the fact that atheism had become the official religion of communism, and in many cases the Church was banned. On the other hand, I also believe that the Church genuinely cared about the human-rights abuses going on throughout the Soviet Bloc.

In spite of my feelings about the left-wing politicization of the Catholic Church, I still consider myself a Christian. I realize and understand the positive affect that Christianity has had and continues to have on mankind. This great country was established upon Judeo-Christian philosophy and values. These values are based on personal liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government. Unfortunately, the current Roman Catholic Church seems to have forsaken these values for the false promises of Big Government.

The SOP (standard operating procedure – for all the Obama voters) for most left-wing politicians has been to hide and deny their liberalism or statism, especially during an election campaign. For many of these politicians, the ruse doesn’t end when the campaigning does. Many left-wing members of congress rely on the ignorance and apathy of their constituents. What these slimy liars do is they speak one way (conservative) when in their home districts and in front of the local media, then go back to Washington and vote for hard-core liberal legislation time after time! They’re very confident that their yokel Democrat constituents won’t notice that their actions are far different from their phony words. Even better, throw them some government freebies and they really won’t give a damn!

Once in a while though, some left-wing politician will slip-up and the truth will accidentally come out of their deceiving pie-holes. The Drudge Report has linked to an article on climatedepot.com, in which the deranged and despicable Al Gore slipped up and stated the truth behind the Global Warming farce while delivering a speech in Oxford, England. Gore made the following statement: “But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance and global agreements.”

Hallelujah! Al Gore has finally uttered something that isn’t a lie!

If it wasn’t before, the cat is certainly out of the bag now! This is exactly what this whole Global Warming hoax is all about. It’s about Socialism, Marxism, Wealth Redistribution, and the implementation of a Statist Global Agenda. Of course, this agenda would only empower and enrich the left-wing elites. Al Gore and his evil ilk just can’t seem to stand personal freedom and liberty. They hate the idea of people being in charge of their own destinies and making their own decisions. To these people, you and I are totally incapable of making correct decisions regarding our lives and how we chose to live them. In their eyes, we are little more than a pet dog or cat!

Man-made Global Warming is straight-up HOAX!

There are now thousands upon thousands of scientists who disagree with Al Gore, Obama, The Democrats, and the mainstream media. Are all of these scientists’ rabid right-wing ideologues who hate clean air and clean water? Are they all in the pockets of Big Oil and Big Coal? These scientists are now compared to Holocaust deniers by the ever tolerant liberals in government and the media. Isn’t science supposed to be about proof and facts, no matter where they may lead? Isn’t the role of science to find the truth? Isn’t science supposed to be free from politics and all of the dirty dealing that goes with it?

Unfortunately for the whole world, science has become almost totally politicized. Since governments now mainly control the purse-strings for scientific research, they can now get just about any result they desire from the scientific community. If you don’t tow the government line, you won’t get any government grant money. It’s that simple! This is more the reason why anyone with half a brain should take the global warming “dissenters” seriously. These scientists not only risk being mocked by the media, but they also risk great financial loss in taking a principled scientific stand on the farce that is Global Warming.
