Presidential elections actually mean a lot more than any personal issues you may be experiencing at a given moment!

More and more, liberal-progressive federal judges are overruling the will of the people. The basis for most of their decisions has little to do with the constitution, and a lot to do with their personal view of fairness. They have taken it upon themselves to morph the U.S. Constitution into some “living & breathing” document that can be perverted to support whatever the politically correct flavor of the day happens to be. For this bunch, the Constitution is no more than an annoying obstacle that stands in the way of their social utopian fantasies.

Bolton’s ruling seems to have been entirely based on her idiotic opinion that legal “Hispanic” residents of Arizona would be “swept up” by the requirements for police to question people about their immigration status once they are stopped.

Give me a freakin break already!

The “legal” Hispanic residents of Arizona (or anywhere else in America) should be loyal to America, and not to illegal law-breakers with whom they happen to share a common birthplace or language. Too damn bad if some “legal” people are inconvenienced by having to prove their legal status. When Americans travel to Mexico, they’re required to have their passports and other identification on them at all times. Unlike SB 1070, the Mexican authorities don’t even need a reason to ask foreigners for their papers. I may give a damn when I hear the “legal” Mexican immigrants complain about the unfairness of the Mexican system, but until then, I don’t!

Hopefully, this sickening ruling and the behavior of the Obama Justice Department will result in the following:

• More people will get off their fat asses this November to throw the congressional Liberal/Progressives out of power once and for all.

• This will finally embolden fence-sitting so-called Independents to come over to the right side and take a stand for once in their lives.

• Average law-abiding, tax-paying Americans will realize that the liberal ruling class in this country doesn’t give a rat’s ugly ass about them.

• America’s sleeping majority will finally wake up and take their country back!

Frail racist white people eh?

If I was a high school teacher and made a similar comment about vertically challenged Mexicans, does anyone believe that I would still be teaching? The taxpayers of California who pay this dirtbag’s salary should demand that he be fired. Fat chance!

I have a simple question for this racist moron.

If he believes that the southwestern portion of the United States was stolen from Mexico, and therefore we have no right to challenge the legal status of Mexican immigrants, what’s the excuse for the millions of illegal Mexicans residing in my home state of New York?  Let me guess; instead of purchasing Manhattan from the Indians, Peter Minuit actually stole it from Mexico – yeah that must be it!

Wait a second! Speaking of Peter Minuit; it was the Dutch who first settled New York, so who the hell are we to require that people from the Netherlands have visas and passports in order to land at JFK? Wait a minute……I forgot for a moment that the Dutch are white so I guess it’s ok to ask that they follow the law……never mind.

This is what we get for capitulating to the destructive multiculturalism and diversity movements. If allowed to go any further, every ethnic group will claim a chunk of the country (That is, non-white European ethnic groups – of course) and make demands that their relatives and friends from the old country also have full legal rights as citizens. If we don’t draw a line in the sand (Oooh, he said “we” – he means white people!) America will become the Balkans of the Western Hemisphere. The only difference is that the Eastern European Balkans only consist of several countries while the new American Balkans will consist of dozens. Rest assured that this version of America won’t be a safe and friendly place for the pencil-necked leftist fools who worship at the alter of Multiculturalism. They should be careful what they wish for!

Like Bob says, who the hell doesn’t want a better life? The fact is that the better life that these illegal invaders are seeking means a worse life and a lower standard of living for American citizens. The cities and states that have the most illegal immigrants are all bankrupt and spend hundreds of millions if not billions (California) on these law breakers. That means tax dollars from hard-working middle-class people!

If Mexicans want a better life they should copy the American system. Our success is no secret, we don’t try to hide it or keep it to ourselves – any country can copy it. The problem is that Mexico, like most third-world countries, is rife with political corruption. It’s up to the citizens of these countries to clean up their mess. We (United States) can’t take care of everyone, and we aren’t obligated to offer everyone around the world a “better life” at the expense of our own citizens, culture, and sovereignty.

Mexico has no excuses for its pathetic economy and standard of living. They have oil and natural gas up the wazoo, and they are also the home of the wealthiest man in the world. (Carlos Slim Helu) The problem is that Mexican society is corrupt and apathetic, and doesn’t want to take responsibility for its own people. Their solution has been to give their poorest people a map of the U.S. border and let them become someone else’s problem.

For decades the United States government has let Mexico get away with allowing or sending millions of their citizens illegally across our border. In a sane world this could easily be looked at as an act of war. Just like the people of Mexico, we must hold our elected officials responsible for their actions. We can’t afford to be a dumping ground for the third-world anymore. American citizens also strive for a “better life.”

I was briefly listening to the radio station again yesterday (Saturday) and the network newscast again referred to the law as “anti-immigration.” One time could be a slip of the tongue or a misprint in the news copy, but twice in two days at random times? The media also refuses to understand, or refuses to report that the Arizona law is actually identical to the current federal law. The difference is that there is no one enforcing the federal law. After all, we don’t have a national police force – at least not yet.

Again, I want someone at ABC News to explain how a law that is targeted at ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS can be described as anti-immigration? The number of Visas and the number of people permitted to immigrate into our country hasn’t changed – the state of Arizona can’t do that! The United States still has the most generous immigration policy in the world; no other country comes close!

Anti-Immigration, ABC News? How about Anti-Illegal Immigration?

Evidently, the MSM aren’t the only ones who have a big problem with the Arizona legislation. Barack Obama has criticized the legislation and vowed to change it through “comprehensive immigration reform.” The Congressional Hispanic Caucus has also vowed to fight the Arizona law. By the way, where’s the Congressional White or the Congressional American Caucus?  Even Al Sharpton is said to be planning a march through the streets of Arizona to protest the law. Apparently all of the recent violence in NYC has been black on white, or black on black, so Sharpton has to take his show on the road.

Of course the Mexican government has also spoken out against the Arizona law. How dare we not let them dump all of their poor and uneducated people on us! The Mexican government is a disgrace! Instead of making the necessary governmental reforms, they basically encourage millions of their own citizens to take a hike. Let the Mexican underclass become the problem of the American taxpayer; what a grand solution!

The Arizona law was passed through the proper democratic and legislative channels, and is in my humble opinion legal! Besides the new tools it gives to police, it also toughens restrictions and fines for hiring and transporting illegal aliens. If initiated on a national scale, tougher fines and restrictions on hiring illegal immigrants would go a very long way in solving the problem. Supporters of Comprehensive Immigration Reform have been making the ridiculous argument that we can’t possibly round-up and deport all of the illegal immigrants – so we may as well give them amnesty. That argument is nothing more than a smokescreen! We don’t have to “round-up” illegal immigrants. All we have to do is make it so economically dangerous for unscrupulous employers to hire them. If the illegal money and illegal jobs dried up, I believe that most illegal immigrants would round themselves up and go back home. The insane anchor-baby laws also have to be abolished. This is the law which allows illegal aliens to stay in our country and access social and educational services at the great expense of hard-working taxpayers. I may be insane, but I believe that a child born in the United States to an illegal immigrant is also an illegal immigrant – plain and simple!

The Arizona law is a start in the right direction, but there is so much more we could and should be doing on the federal level to effectively put an end to illegal immigration. The problem has been the lack of political will to stop this crime. The Democrats want more ignorant and dependent people added to their voting bloc, and many Republicans want to preserve cheap labor for their business constituents.

I believe that most Americans know the difference between legal and illegal immigration. Illegal immigration has become a burden too heavy to bear by hardworking, over-taxed American citizens.

Enough is enough already!

Last night I visited one of my favorite websites, Worldnetdaily, and found that their lead article written by Aaron Klein dealt with exactly the same concerns that I have in regards to massive immigration from underdeveloped or Third World countries. The article is basically an open admission from one of Obama’s advisors and a high ranking union official that they want to use immigration as a way to impose their frightening Progressive/Marxist agenda on the United States.

Here’s a video of SEIU’s international vice-president, Eliseo Medina, saying exactly what I said in my post, which is that they (Obama, Democrats, Progressives, Marxists, Socialists, etc.) are counting on the hope that illegal immigrants can receive amnesty, and then help to create a “progressive governing coalition for the long term.”

Let’s see, when I make the same claim that Mr. Medina made, I’m just a racist right-winger. When he makes it, he’s doing what?

What he’s doing is just telling the cold hard truth about their plans for “comprehensive immigration reform” – also known as amnesty.

Like I said many times before; if amnesty for illegal aliens (law-breaking invaders) is passed, and the floodgates are opened to allow more poor immigrants from around the world, America as we know it will be gone for good.

Here’s Mark’s list:

1. Rewrite the Constitution and break down its firewalls through Judicial and Bureaucratic fiat.
2. Concentrate all meaningful power in the Federal Government.
3. Suppress and Repress the Individual by attacking his Unalienable Rights through laws and constant torment.
4. Eliminate Private Property through Confiscatory Taxation and Regulation and wage constant war against Business Enterprises and Entrepreneurs.
5. Control Institutions of Education at all levels and turn them into Indoctrination Centers for the State.
6. Change the Citizenry by opening National Borders to virtually all comers and changing the qualifications for Citizenship to include mostly poor, uneducated illegal aliens.
7. Destroy the Private Financial Institutions that have funded the Greatest Production and Accumulation of Wealth for the Most People the World has ever known.
8. Destroy Capitalism and replace it with Redistributive Policies by destroying the currency and replacing it with a new currency or Revaluing the old currency.
9. Eliminate American Sovereignty through arrangements and agreements with Foreign Countries and International Bureaucracies.
10. Use American Foreign Policy not to improve American Economic and National Security, but to advance the Notion of One Government Globalism.

All 10 items on the list are a nightmare for any free society. For the moment, I want to focus on what I believe to be the most destructive and the hardest to reverse once fully implemented.

I’m referring to #6. Change the Citizenry by opening National Borders to virtually all comers and changing the qualifications for Citizenship to include mostly poor, uneducated illegal aliens.

I believe that anyone with half a brain and no personal or political agenda can see the permanent destruction that will result from massive illegal and…..yes, legal immigration of predominantly ignorant and poor people into our country.

The ignorant and poor have long been the favorite pawns of dictators, despots, and Marxists. That’s exactly why the modern day Democrats and statists like Obama favor open borders and massive immigration from underdeveloped or third world nations. It’s very easy to play the class-envy card with people who live on mere dollars per week in their native countries. People who are ignorant (many times through no fault of their own) don’t understand free-market economics. They don’t understand how wealth is created. They often seem to believe that the streets of America are paved with gold. They don’t understand the blood, sweat, and ideas that have made us as prosperous as we are. Many of these people look at a person who makes 40 thousand dollars a year like the rest of us look at millionaires.

Many good but misguided people have come to believe that allowing massive immigration from the third world is a moral issue. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the phrase “people just looking for a better life” when the issue of immigration comes up. I don’t buy the legitimacy of the phrase, and quite frankly, it makes me sick! Where in the US Constitution does it say that we have to lower our standard of living in order for someone else to have a better life? Where is it written that we have to give up chunks of our freedom in order for someone else to have a better life? Where is it written that we have to give more and more of our hard earned money to subsidize people who want a better life? Where is it written that we have to water down, or outright surrender our culture to accommodate immigrants who just want a better life?

Another key fact that almost all proponents of massive immigration miss is the plain and simple fact that like most things, immigration has changed over the years. For the most part, immigrants who flocked to this country throughout the 19^th and 20^th century came here to seek opportunity without any guarantees or assistance from the government. They came here to become Americans, not to remake America into the country from which they came. They went to work almost immediately after entering the country. Their sponsors had to make sure that they had work and a place to live. They went to school to learn English. They weren’t catered to with signs in their native languages. They took a lot of guff in the beginning, but they didn’t complain. They realized that it was part of the price for the freedom and opportunity they sought. Eventually they proved themselves to be hard-working people who wanted first and foremost to be Americans. It didn’t take long before they were accepted with open arms and treated as fellow citizens – fellow Americans. How do I know all of this? Because I’m speaking about people from my own family who went through it – that’s how!

Many, if not most of today’s immigrants (often through no fault of their own) don’t share the same attitude as the earlier immigrants. Largely because of the politicians in Washington DC, many come here with certain expectations if not outright demands. Many expect to be subsidized by the current citizens. Many expect government programs to help them get by. Many expect bi-lingual education and bi-lingual government services. Again, I don’t really blame the immigrants. I blame the corrupt politicians who want to use these people as pawns to advance their agendas and power. We need to reestablish the message to potential immigrants that America is the place to go if you want to work hard and achieve success, not the place to go for cradle to grave hand-outs. The progressive left in particular looks at today’s immigrants as people they can easily control in their quest to transform America into a Marxist nation. It’s undeniable that desperately poor people are much more likely to accept and tolerate Marxism, Leninism, Statism, and even Totalitarianism.

With our economy in shambles, with multi trillion dollar debts and deficits as far as the eye can see, and with real-world unemployment at 17 or 18 percent, we can hardly afford to import poverty from all over the world. Our federal entitlement programs are all at the breaking point. We simply can’t afford more people jumping on the wagon. What we need are more people to help pull the wagon! We need to run our immigration system like a small business, or even a fortune 500 corporation. Immigrants should explain what they can do for us, rather what we can do for them. Regardless of skin color, native language, or country of origin, we need immigrants who will be assets to our economy and a plus for our nation. We need stricter guidelines for immigration. We need immigrants who better understand our history and free-market system (while we still have one). We don’t need hyphenated Americans. We need immigrants who while holding on to their cultures, want to be Americans first. We need immigrants who crave personal and financial freedom over a supposedly benevolent centralized government.

Have no doubt that Obama and the Democrats will soon try to ram some sort of radical “immigration reform” down our throats. I believe that this will make the healthcare reform fiasco seem like a schoolyard spat between first graders. They well know that by importing poverty and desperation, and by legalizing all of the “undocumented” aliens that are already here, they can build a permanent progressive political base that can never be defeated again at the ballot box. This will get very, very ugly. They will brand anyone who opposes their “immigration reform” as Bigots, Racists, Haters, White Supremacists and Klansmen. They will hope that people who have a low tolerance for being at the receiving end of vicious name calling will fall silent. They will try to appeal to people who for some reason or another suffer from a misguided sense of guilt. Others, they will try to outright destroy. Many gutless Republicans will easily become intimidated and are likely to fold under the pressure. Once again, it will be up to us – the American people to defeat this.

All of the 10 steps that Mark Levine talked about are scary to anyone who wants to preserve our great country for future generations. However, once there is a super population of poor and ignorant immigrants from around the world residing within our borders, we will once and for all witness the irreversible destruction of our beloved country.

This post really caught my attention because the author of the piece, Kathy Shaidle, actually beat me to the punch with this one. As you know if you’re a regular reader, I don’t pull many punches on Gotham Resistance. I do however, feel that I may have held myself back this one time, with this specific question that Ms. Shaidle so nonchalantly and yet so courageously asked.

You see, I have often had this discussion with people close to me, and have often asked the same question as Kathy Shaidle!

It just drives me crazy when I hear the news reports project that within a certain time frame, a certain ethnic group will be the majority in America. They speak of this future as if it’s written in stone, as if it’s inevitable. Why is it inevitable? Who decided that it’s inevitable, and who the hell is in charge of our country?

As Ms. Shaidle so aptly points out in her piece, the Republican Party has been wringing their hands and pulling their hair out over this “sensitive” issue. The GOP is constantly being warned by friend and foe alike that they have to embrace “Hispanics.” This “embracing” is always directly linked to blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, softening up on immigration laws, and expansion of the welfare state. The GOP has also been told that they need to “reach out” to “Hispanics” because they will soon have the power to make it impossible for the Party to ever be viable again.

What exactly does reaching out mean?

Should the GOP, and the Conservative and Libertarian movements sacrifice their principles for political expediency? Do they embrace big-government socialism in lieu of the free market in order to pander to a certain ethnic group that is by design becoming more and more powerful? As usual, I’d bet the GOP takes the path of least resistance and marches slowly to its death instead of going down fighting.

Any rational person understands that immigrants from the Third World don’t understand, and frankly, don’t give a damn about free market capitalism, limited government, personal and financial freedom, and the constitution. People from this background only care about survival! They are very willing to accept minimal personal freedom as long as they have a government that insures them the basic staples of life. A person making the equivalent of forty or fifty thousand dollars a year in Mexico is considered very “well-off” – why then will these people give a rat’s ass if people making over 200 grand are taxed at 60%?

The main crux of this issue is something that is currently missing from the public debate in our country. The question is who gets to decide who will be the future majority in our country, and who gets to decide how much immigration is enough, and from where the immigration should come from? I always thought it was we the people – silly me!

It’s pure insanity to allow massive immigration from a specific geographical area,

and from a specific ethnic or religious background! Common sense says that if we allowed the same levels of immigration from any country in the world, the results would be the same. If it were India instead of Mexico, all the politicians would then be pandering to the Indians. If it were the Far-East, the people from those ethnic and cultural backgrounds would then have the power over our politicians instead of the “Hispanics” from Mexico and Central and South America. Duh!

This current rationale even goes against the phony “melting pot” cliché often used by the mainstream media and the Left-Wing Liberals. A “melting pot” would theoretically contain a wide array of ingredients mixed toghether slowly and purposefully. As stated many times on this blog, the amnesty bill that is on the agenda of the Obama administration could easily add 100 million mostly “Hispanic” immigrants over the next twenty or so years. If you do the math, even with the phony deflated numbers that the government and media push, you’ll see how this can easily happen.

The Federal Government estimates that there are between 12 to 20 million illegal aliens in our country. The vast majority are “Hispanic.” If you legalize 20 million immigrants, and they all bring only five “family members” (Chain or Serial Migration) into the country, you have 100 million people! Many of these people come from huge families, so five family members each may well be a conservative figure.

The sad fact of the matter is that the current trend of racial and ethnic politics will continue until the vast majority of the American people demand that our government stops it! I say vast majority because if only 51 or 52 percent of Americans protest, they’ll keep on doing it because they believe that they will be greatly rewarded in the future.

As is the case with most of the important issues America faces, we the people need to be heard. We must tell our elected officials in Washington what we want instead of them telling us what we’re going to get! We the people need to tell Washington who and how many people they should let into our country! We need to tell the cowardly frauds that we need educated freedom loving people to be allowed to immigrate to our country; we don’t need to be importing poverty and ignorance from around the world!

I truly believe that the immigration issue (illegal and legal) trumps all other issues. If the current trend continues, if we don’t start controlling our borders, and if the Democrats and Obama get their amnesty agenda passed, our country as we know and love it will cease to exist! Please don’t just accept the media’s assertions and projections about who will in essence control our country. Nothing is inevitable if we take back our power from the corrupt self-serving politicians in Washington. We have the power to control our own destiny – if only we’d use it!
