You know when you see a person who is so far over his/her head that you wrack your brain imagining how they got the gig that they have. I’ve seen it countless times when I worked in the 9 to 5 world. I now see it over and over, day after day in the media business.

One such person is the colossally inept Kirsten Powers. For those who never heard of her, this walking monument to stupidity is a “Fox News Contributor” who can be seen on the supposed conservative station more often than flies on a turd. The only difference is that both the flies and the turd have a higher IQ than Ms. Powers.

Powers is a long time Democrat Party activist who prepares for her appearances by reading the talking points from the DNC and the White House. For a supposed “political analyst” she shows about as much analytical ability as Rocky Balboa.

Here’s some of her typical analysis: (Note: It really doesn’t matter what the subject matter is; the analysis is always the same.)

Bush did the same thing

Bush lied

Bush was worse

Bush did it first

Bush is dumb

Bush is at fault

Bush is worse than Hitler

Bush is the Anti-Christ

Bush is a serial killer

Bush this

Bush that

Bush the other thing

Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush

Hmmm…there seems to be an obsession with Bush!

Recently this dimwit was “contributing” to America Live hosted by Megyn Kelly. The subject was the New Black Panther voter intimidation story. The predictable Powers pooh-poohed the Black Panther story saying that too much was being made of it. She also claimed that the Panther in question (Shabaaz) holding the billy-club wasn’t intimidating because people were still walking past him to vote. Is this woman for real, or what? I would wager that Ms. Powers is the type that runs across the street when she sees a black man in a suite and tie walking towards her; much less a black man holding a weapon in his hands. Typical limousine-liberal hypocrite!

Anyway, Megyn Kelly made mince meat out of this incompetent boob! Predictably, Powers went right into her “Bush did it too” – “Bush was worse” routine. In answer to the charge that the Obama/Holder Justice Department did nothing about this crystal clear case of voter intimidation, she claimed that they did so by slapping the Black Panther with an injunction. Oooooooh…an injunction!

Megyn Kelly pointed out that this “injunction” prevents the Black Panther from standing in front of a polling place in the city of Philadelphia for the upcoming 2012 presidential election. Damn that Holder is tough when it comes to enforcing the Voters Rights Act!

Check out the video if you haven’t already seen it. A word of warning: it isn’t pretty when a brainless moron attempts to debate an intelligent and prepared person. Please don’t start to feel sorry for Ms. Powers; I’m sure she’s well paid to show off her stupidity.

Click here to view the embedded video.

By the way; I’m really sick and tired of all the Democrat Urban Legend Myths that are constantly spewed by the likes of Kirsten Powers and her ilk. One of these myths is that white Republicans intimidated blacks into not voting during the 2000 election. There has yet to be one person to step forward and officially make that claim. Where are the mainstream media interviews with all these victims? I’m tired of it already! Also, the very thought of a white Republican in a blue suit and red tie intimidating blacks from going into a polling station is laughable! Oh yeah…I almost forgot, the RNC hired the Hell’s Angels to do their dirty work – right Kirsten?

What the hell is Kirsten Powers doing being a contributor on Fox News anyway? I was under the impression that Fox News was an extreme right-wing organization that doesn’t give equal time to the opposition. The fact is that Fox News has more Liberal contributors than I can stomach; and this Kirsten Powers dumbbell has to be the absolute worst of the bunch!

Question for Fox News: What does a person have to do to become a contributor?

Michael Moore did what many on the left have started to do; he used the Bible, the teachings of Jesus, and Christianity in general to argue for “compassionate” cradle to grave government programs.

This past Tuesday, the despicable Michael Moore appeared on Sean Hannity’s TV show on the Fox News Channel. I tried to force myself to watch this moron and was actually successful in doing so for the first 2 or 3 minutes before I turned the channel. I like Sean Hannity, but sometimes he allows these left-wing clowns to get the drop on him too easily.

When Hannity tried to get Moore to admit that he’s a socialist, (more like a Marxist!) porky diverted the conversation and went on to describe himself as a “Christian.” Hannity took Moore’s bait and replied by saying that he was also. Moore then rhetorically asked Hannity if he was a Catholic, to which Hannity answered that he was. Moore then asked Hannity if he attends Mass on Sunday. I didn’t know that a person can’t call himself a Catholic if they don’t go to church every Sunday – but I’m digressing. Hannity once again took the bait and said that he did. Ughhhh….I knew immediately that this was going in the wrong direction for Hannity. Moore then asked Hannity what the sermon was about. Hannity hemmed and hawed while trying to change the subject. Moore would have none of it and pressed Hannity to remember. Hannity then made the lame claim that it was a long time ago, to which Moore reminded him that it was only two days ago. Boy was this hard to watch; Sean Hannity being owned by Michael Moore. Hannity finally claimed that he may have gone to Mass on Saturday night and somehow managed to move the interview forward.

For those who haven’t seen it, I’ll warn you that this video is painful to watch.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Anyway, back to the original point of this post. Michael Moore did what many on the left have started to do; he used the Bible, the teachings of Jesus, and Christianity in general to argue for “compassionate” cradle to grave government programs. I would argue that Michael Moore is as much a Christian as I am a Muslim, but he was able to shape the argument against capitalism by using Christian doctrine. Radio Talk Show host and author Tammy Bruce, was one of the first people (besides myself) to sound the warning about the Left using religion to push their Socialist economic agenda. Bruce has wisely pointed out that just because someone is a Christian, doesn’t mean that they’re a conservative. She then went on to note (I’m paraphrasing) that former President George W. Bush was a good Christian, but a bad conservative. Ms. Bruce couldn’t have been more right!

As evil and devious as the far-left is, they’re just as slick. They know just how to tweak something in order to make it sound mainstream. They know how to manipulate people’s good will and good intentions to further their political goals. They know how to use children, seniors, the sick, and the poor to get the power they crave. They know how to use the uneducated and ignorant to do their dirty work. Now they’ve also learned how to use religion to advance their oppressive agenda. That’s the reason that I was always kind of uncomfortable with conservatives using religion in political dialogue and debate; regardless of how sincere their beliefs. I knew that when the time inevitably came, that the left would use it in a sinister way to bash conservatives over the head, while fooling many well-meaning people into accepting a huge but benevolent government. As if such a thing actually exists!

So get used to more and more atheist – left-wing radical – Marxists quoting Biblical passages and telling us that Jesus would be aligned with their Statist agenda. They don’t really believe it – and neither should anyone else!

How many of you would take advice from a sworn enemy who has made it crystal clear that he wants to destroy you? If you’re halfway sane you would laugh at unsolicited advice from your enemies; in fact, you would probably try to do the opposite of what they’re telling you. The only dummies who don’t seem to understand this rational concept are Republican politicians and talking heads.

The latest case of sworn enemies giving advice to each other is the situation with Judge Sonya Sotomayor. Since it has come out that the lovely judge is a woman obsessed with gender and race, the Democrats and the media have been warning the Republicans and Conservatives that they better not oppose her, or else! You see, the Liberals are so concerned that the Republicans will alienate all “Hispanic” and/or “Latino” voters, and never be able to win another national election again. Thank God for the Republican Party that the Democrats in congress, the Obama administration, and the media are looking out for them!

This of course, is a childish ruse meant to intimidate the wimpy Republicans into total submission. If the Liberals and their partners in the media actually believed that opposing, attacking, and ultimately stopping Judge Sotomayor from getting on the Supreme Court would permanently destroy the Republican Party, they would take that tradeoff in a second and never look back. If opposing Sotomayor would once and for all bury the conservative movement, the left would be encouraging her opponents to stop her; not warning them against it!

This phony tactic will also be used to intimidate Republicans from opposing the upcoming amnesty for all illegal aliens. The Republicans and Conservatives will be told that they dare not upset the ever-growing “Hispanic” population, lest they become a permanent minority party. Besides this concept being totally off base, it also highlights the subtle racism of Liberals. You see, in the eyes of the Liberals, all that “Hispanics” understand is ethnicity and race. The racist liberal mindset doesn’t allow for “Hispanics” to think rationally. The liberals believe that “Hispanic” Americans only care about other “Hispanics.” The liberals don’t believe that “Hispanic” Americans can look beyond race; they just lump every person whose native langue is Spanish into the same monolithic category. This is a flat-out insult to all the millions of people who speak Spanish and come from dozens of countries throughout the world!

The other problem is that the Liberals, and the media in particular, don’t seem to live in the real world. They may be educated to some degree, but they lack insight, common sense, and “street smarts.” For instance, growing up in New York, I learned first hand, right from the source, which “Hispanics” don’t like or get along with other “Hispanics.” Am I saying that all people who speak Spanish don’t necessarily like each other and don’t always get along? That can’t be – you say! The media tells us that all people who speak Spanish are all just one happy unified group. How wrong they are – as usual!

Like other ethnic groups, “Hispanics” are not monolithic in their beliefs, in their politics, or even their racial background. In South and Central America, there are numerous historical tensions between the Spanish speaking countries. Some of the more noted tensions exist between Chile and Peru, between Colombia and Venezuela, and between Salvador and Honduras. The myth that all Spanish speaking countries are aligned with each other is naive and ignorant. Why would a second or third generation American from Ecuador or Chile be offended at illegal immigrants from Mexico not receiving amnesty? The Liberals in government and the media are stuck on the racist notion that all Spanish speaking people look, act, and think alike. This, of course, is totally and unequivocally false!

Besides the usual suspects in the federal government and the mainstream media, there are also some “conservative” talking heads that seem to have fallen for this false premise hook, line, and sinker. Fox Radio’s John Gibson is one so-called conservative who seems to value the advice of the Left-Wing. Gibson also seems to share the Left’s theory on Hispanic homogeny. During a broadcast about a week ago, Mr. Gibson took offense at a comment about Judge Sotomayor by none other than Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard and Fox News. Taking offence at something Fred Barnes says is like taking offence at something the late Mr. Rogers would have said. Anyway, I digress. Mr. Gibson then accused Fred Barnes of having a “Northeast Bias” against “Hispanics.” He went on to say that there’s a bias from people who don’t live among “Hispanics.” I don’t know if Mr. Gibson was drunk when he said that, or if he’s just plain ignorant! I happen to live in NYC. NYC is definitely in the Northeast – right? For this imbecile to say that I don’t live among “Hispanic” people is downright laughable. The last statistics available from the U.S. Census in 2000 has New York as the number three state in regards to illegal immigrant population. This is on top of the historically high amount of legal or U.S. born Hispanics in New York. Northeast bias against Hispanics? Mr. Gibson, if you truly believe what you said, you are a fool!

Mr. Gibson then parroted the same false talking points as the Democrats and the media. He warned that if the Republicans oppose Sonia Sotomayor that they would be in danger of permanently losing the “Hispanic vote.” Mr. Gibson lamented that Sotomayor will be confirmed regardless, so there is no sense in raising a stink about her views on race, gender, and judicial legislation. I would like to ask Mr. Gibson if opposing and eventually stopping Judge Miguel Estrada’s appointment to the U.S. Court of Appeals hurt the Democrats politically. I would also ask if the Democrats treatment of the first “Hispanic” Attorney General, Alberto Gonzalez, hurt them politically among “Hispanics.” Mr. Gibson and other clueless Republicans don’t seem to understand that this isn’t a “Hispanic” issue, but rather a Liberal issue! It’s scary how Mr. Gibson and many others seem to just cave in to racial and ethnic politics. They say that it’s only prudent because of the current demographic trends. Does this mean that Mr. Gibson would capitulate to Sharia Law if the Muslim population grew to a certain level?

John Gibson is right about one thing; Judge Sonia Sotomayor will be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court. That having been said, I think that it’s important to question her about her beliefs on race, gender, and the role of the judiciary. It will also be important and vital to the future of this great country that Republicans, Conservatives, and all people who care about our constitution and rule of law oppose blanket amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens who disrespected our country and laws when they snuck in. This isn’t about “Hispanics”; it’s about right and wrong!

Anyone who keeps an eye or ear on pop-culture has probably heard the phrase Stop Hatin’. I first started noticing this annoying term a few years ago and my bull-shit radar started beeping immediately! The term is mostly used by youngish African-Americans, but predictably other groups have started using it as well. What does this hip term actually mean?

Stop Hatin’, in its pure and simple form, is supposed to convey tolerance and acceptance of others, especially those of different color and culture. Sounds harmless – right?

Unfortunately, the way that the term Stop Hatin’ is actually used is a bit more sinister than that!

Stop Hatin’ has become a term that is habitually used to stifle opposing points of view, debate, and judgment. For instance, if you tell someone who is a New York Knick fan that the Knicks suck, you may get the response; Stop Hatin’! If you tell someone who likes A. Rod that he’s overrated, you may get the response – Stop Hatin’! If you tell someone that’s acting like a jerk to cool it, you may get the response – Stop Hatin’! Last but certainly not least, if you’re critical of Obama, the Obama supporter may tell you to Stop Hatin’!

Beginning to see a pattern here?

In other words, a certain segment of our society has been taught or brainwashed to believe that if you disagree with them on any level whatsoever, you’re a Hater! Being a Hater marginalizes you, it automatically renders your opinions foolish, if not dangerous. Being a Hater disqualifies you from passing judgment on anyone’s behavior, no matter how abhorrent. Being a Hater gives the accuser a sense of moral superiority over you; thus never having to defend their own views and opinions.

I really don’t know where and when this insidious term was born, but if I had to bet I would say that it probably originated within the Hip-Hop community and the Marxist based “black liberation movement.” I’m sure that everyone who spits out this stupid phrase isn’t consciously trying to shut you up; a lot of people are just blind followers of popular culture and trends. However, a person doesn’t have to utter the phrase with the intent to silence in order for it to have an effect. For most people, being called a Hater tends to automatically put them on the defensive. They then try to convince the accuser that they aren’t Haters instead of dealing with the initial issue.

There is no doubt that there’s a dangerous and scary element in this country who would like to obtain power by controlling speech. This element cunningly uses the public education system and media to try to establish what speech and words are socially acceptable. This element is Marxist in its nature and it preys mostly on the young and ignorant! What’s really terrifying is that this element is now becoming more mainstream by entrenching itself into the “progressive” movement and the Democratic Party.

The corrupt mainstream media and liberal politicians love to use the phrase “working families.” Tax credits for working families, healthcare for working families, affordable housing for working families, cat liter for working families, etc. etc. etc.

So let me get this straight, the liberals come up with an arbitrary number with regards to income, and the families that meet their phony criteria are “working families.” And the rest are what?

So let’s see, a family of four that has an income of $35,000 per year is a working family, while a family of four that makes $150,000 per year don’t “work” for their income?

If a family has both parents working, and they each make $75,000 per year, does that mean that they don’t really work? Or that they’re…….. rich?

Let’s step into a little bit of reality here! People who make more money usually work longer and harder than people who make less money! A restaurateur who makes a profit of $200,000 per year probably works at least 14 hours per day. Is anyone going to tell this man or woman that they aren’t working?

This “working families” bull is just another angle, used by liberals, to perpetuate class warfare. It’s just another rouse to make uninformed people beholden to Nanny-State politicians! It’s an attempt to tap into one of man’s greatest vices – Envy! It’s another slick attempt to paint people with money as greedy and evil. A cynical pursuit by the devious Left to get the American middle-class to embrace Socialism!

End of story.
