Yeah, we all know he must be extraordinarily intelligent because after all, he received diplomas from Columbia and Harvard. As opposed to George W. Bush who only graduated from Yale because of his father’s influence.
I figured why waste time and write 400 words about Obama’s State of the Union speech when I can easily describe it in 25 short words.
These proposed spending freezes that Obama will unveil tomorrow account for programs that add up to only 18% of the budget. Not to mention that the original baseline before Obama’s massive spending increases was already inflated due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The wars that Obama promised to end when he became president.
His goal was to please both sides while doing nothing at the same time. He thinks that he’s pleasing conservatives and independents by listening to his generals, (sort of) while also pleasing the left-wing kooks with his quick withdrawal of the very troops he’s sending.
Recently, along with the 300 pieces of mail from the environmentalist Michael Bloomberg, I received a 2009 General Election Voter Guide from the NYC Campaign Finance Board. This publication lists all of the people on the ballot for the various elected offices of the city of New York. I usually don’t look at this publication, but this time I decide to flip through it. What I found was pretty damn scary!
The real reason that the Obama propagandists are attacking Fox News Channel is because they fear it. No, they don’t fear that all of the right-wing extremists who exclusively watch Fox; they already know they aren’t going to support Obama’s Marxist policies. They are afraid of the other Fox viewers that Obama desperately needs to succeed.
If ignorance and apathy could be used as currency, these people would be sitting pretty. It’s just another example of our public education system and welfare system at work. The Great Society welfare state has already destroyed millions of lives since the sixties, but Obama and the Democrats are pushing for more of the same – times a thousand!
The only problem that Obama has with the hapless David Paterson is the fact that even in Democrat dominated New York; he’s about as popular as a fox in a chicken convention. Paterson has the lowest approval rating (21%) of any current governor in the country. Polls show that if former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani decides to run for governor, he would easily beat him in 2010. The same polls also show that New York’s Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the son of former three term New York Governor Mario Cuomo, would beat Rudy Giuliani in the same race.
