In yesterday’s post, I opined that Bloomberg should fire Ms. Batista-Schlesinger because she basically called everyone who is opposed to the evil Mega mosque plan racist. There is no way around that! If Sarah Palin is a racist because she dare speak out against this vile proposal, then it only stands to reason that this applies to all people who are against it! In fact, her tweet said “Whose hearts” and “Racist Hearts”, not Whose heart and Racist Heart. To me, this proves that the despicable Batista-Schlesinger meant that all who hold that view are racist.

Remember Mr. Bloomberg; the (s) at the end of Heart means plural. In other words, she wasn’t just referring to Sarah Palin, but to all who disagree with her! That includes me and millions of other New Yorkers who believe that the Ground-Zero mosque is a hateful and provocative project!

Bloomberg went on to say that he didn’t agree with Batista-Schlesinger in regards to Palin (and the rest of us – I guess) being racists. However, he did it in his usual underhanded way by taking the opportunity to defend the mosque plan as a matter of “religious freedom.”

Here’s what I mean.

Bloomberg: “In terms of her comments on Sarah Palin, I don’t agree at all. But I certainly agree that freedom of speech is just as important as freedom of religion.”

This pompous elitist attempts to supposedly defend Palin while justifying his gung-ho support for the mosque project.

Bloomberg also comes out and admits that Ms. Batista-Schlesinger is a far left-winger.

He said: “You know, anybody that’s read Andrea Batista Schlesinger’s book ‘The Death Of Why?’ should know what her views are. I’ve always tried to have an administration with people from all the ends of the political spectrum and everything in the middle.”

Really Mr. Bloomberg? Would you please let all of us know the name of the Conservative who is part of your administration? Conservative, Mr. Bloomberg – not Republican! Is there anyone in your administration who is an open supporter of the Tea Party movement, or of Sarah Palin? The answer is a resounding big fat NO!

The bottom line is that Bloomberg is a thin skinned statist who doesn’t take well to anyone questioning his all-encompassing wisdom. Bloomberg has set himself firmly with the Islamists who want to pour rock salt on the wounds of all the families and friends of the 9/11 victims. To hide from his cowardice, (God forbid he go against anything Islam wants!) Bloomberg has tried to use the concept of religious freedom as a smokescreen; the very same concept that simply doesn’t exist in Islamic nations.

Mayor Bloomberg, if you want to keep Ms. Batista-Schlesinger in your administration, at least order her to apologize to the people you both supposedly serve for calling them racists. Once again, I won’t hold my breath.

Shortly after, an aide to NYC mayor/king Michael Bloomberg responded with two of her own tweets. The aide is a woman by the name of Andres Batista-Schlesinger. This woman seems to be just as pompous and ignorant as her liberal elitist boss. Before joining the Bloomberg administration regime, Schlesinger worked for the liberal think-tank, Drum Major Institute. Whoa…what a surprise!

In response to Palin’s tweets, Batista-Schlesinger tweeted the following:

Mind your business

And:

Whose hearts? Racist hearts?

I would like to ask Ms. Batista-Schlesinger who the hell appointed her to speak for New Yorkers. You don’t speak for me, Ms. Schlesinger! You don’t speak for the majority of New Yorkers who oppose this evil mega-mosque plan! Furthermore, how dare you imply that people who are opposed to this sick plan are racist! Is this the only way you leftists know how to debate? You are just another self-loathing liberal elitist who’s tall on arrogance and short on brains – you’re disgusting! As a New Yorker, I’m outraged that my tax dollars go to pay your salary.

While Ms. Batista-Schlesinger is telling Sarah Palin to mind her own business, I’d like to take this opportunity to tell her boss, Michael Bloomberg, to do the same.

Hey Bloomberg; stop telling New Yorkers what to eat and drink! Stop telling restaurants how they should cook their food! Stop telling people how to run their lives! Stop sticking your nose in the business of other states in regards to their gun laws! Why don’t you try taking the advice that your aide gave Mrs. Palin, and Mind Your Own Business for a change!

The gutless Batista-Schlesinger has since removed her two tweets. Mr. Bloomberg should fire Ms. Batista- Schlesinger for inferring that the majority of New Yorkers are racist. He should be outraged that someone who works for his office would use the “race card” to further fuel the already intense fire over this mega-mosque issue. If Ms. Batista-Schlesinger had an ounce of integrity, she would do everyone a favor and resign her taxpayer funded post. I won’t hold my breath!

For instance:

Do highly paid Yuppies who own a condo, a summer home, and a BMW really prefer Socialism or Communism over Capitalism?

Or:

Do the supposedly educated Pro-Castro members of the Congressional Black Caucus really not know that black Cubans are basically second class citizens?

Or finally:

Do feminists or members of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community who identify with Mulims in America as fellow victims really not understand that their lifestyles are forbidden by Islam, and that they would be the first to be persecuted in a world dominated by Islam?

I read a great post by Dr. John J. Ray, Ph.D of Political Correctness Watch which deals with this strange relationship between The Left and Islam; a relationship based on their mutual quest for power.

Dr. Ray writes:

“On the surface of it they seem to have very little in common. The left claims to be progressive, embraces gay bars, abortions, feminism, worker’s rights civil rights, multiculturalism and obscene slogans. The Islamists throw acid in women’s faces, hang gays on every streetcorner and repress minorities and freedom of expression.”

Why does the American Left steadfastly continue to apologize for the atrocities of Islam? Do they really feel comfortable with such an ally?
The short of it is that The Left and Islam need each other for the time being.

This past Monday (7/5) Atlas Shrugs ran a post titled NYC Mosque Forcing Muslim Call to Prayer on Neighborhood. I left a comment informing the readers that this is already going on in my Northwestern Queens neighborhood. (Astoria)

I don’t want to get into specifics as to the exact Mosque, (unfortunately there are many) but the neighborhood has already been subjected to their “calls to prayer” for at least a year now. To be perfectly honest, the calls aren’t quite as loud as an AC/DC concert, but they’re loud enough. During the daytime when there’s a lot of traffic, or during the cold winter months, or during really hot weather when the AC is on, you probably won’t hear it. However, during the spring and autumn when the windows are open you can hear it very clearly.

Especially when it’s played a few minutes before 4am!

That’s right! One of their calls to prayer comes on somewhere between 3:50 and 4:00am! I live roughly a block away from the Mosque in question and more often than not, it wakes me up if the bedroom windows are open. It took me a while to figure out exactly what this noise was and where it was coming from. My wife was first to suggest that it was coming from the Mosque; I pooh-poohed the theory at first, telling her that I couldn’t believe that they could get away with doing that. What the hell was I thinking? I should know better than that!

The Mosque in question has slowly but surely become the center of this part of the neighborhood. The members of this Mosque seem to get away with things that infidels don’t. They park illegally throughout the day in no-parking zones yet somehow never seem to get a ticket…gee I wonder why? They couldn’t be getting special treatment from the Bloomberg administration – could they?

I can’t even imagine a Christian Church getting away with these kinds of things. Imagine for just a moment, a Catholic Church ringing its bells in the middle of the night. We all know that people in the neighborhood would complain (rightfully so) and the city would put an abrupt stop to it. The problem is that the same people are not likely to complain about the noise coming from a Mosque. It can’t possibly be that they’re intimidated or frightened by the Religion of Peace – could it?

There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that Islam is testing the American public to see just how much they can get away with. Multiple Mosques are going up in neighborhoods all over this great country at an alarming rate. This includes the sickening plan to build a Super Mosque just steps from where the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center last stood on September 11^th 2001.

Islam will continue to try using, or should I say perverting, the US Constitution to help further its expansionist agenda. Far be it for me to remind the ACLU and other apologists for Islam that we not only have freedom of religion in America, but we also have freedom from religion.

Much like the cowards in Western Europe, many American politicians have already become intimidated into submission by the public relations/propaganda arm of Islam. Because we can’t trust sleazy, wimpy politicians to do the right thing, we the people, must take the lead on this critical issue. We must educate ourselves about Islam and the Quran. We must educate other people and encourage them to research Islam. We must put pressure on our local, state, and federal elected officials. We must be courageous enough to not distinguish between Islam and Radical Islam – they are one and the same!

Mags from Crooklyn Conservative (The Surly Barmaid) said it perfectly in a recent post titled What’s Not To Fear. (Read Here) In this post she hits the nail squarely on the head in regards to the reluctance of many to recognize the danger of a growing Islamic population in the West.

She writes:

“I understand that to admit to the true nature of Islam is all but impossible for some. Whether it’s denial or willful ignorance; to be open and honest about what really lies at the heart of Islam would negate their narrative. They have far too much invested in the false notion of the joys of multiculturalism to ever admit that it’s just not working.”

If we allow Islam to take hold in America like it has in parts of Western Europe, we will doom our future generations to a dark and oppressing existence. Make no mistake about it; Islam is slowly but surely pushing the envelope every single day. They are testing us to see how far and how fast they can go. They are testing us to see if we will fight for our culture and civilization, or just curl up and submit.

As is often the case, while I was grilling my wife was playing some of our favorite tunes from our vast collection. After we finished dinner, I began to feel the need for some inspirational patriotic songs. I live daily with the reality of the problems and challenges facing our great country. In order to stay  positive and to keep a sense of hope,  I often reflect on the things that made this great country what it is. There are a number of songs that really hit the spot when I find myself in this frame of mind.

After attending the rally this Sunday to protest the disgusting plan to build a “super-mosque” on the footsteps of ground zero, this song came to mind. It’s been a while since I listened to it, but the message is as strong as ever.

We will never forget, even though many in our government have. We will never forget, even though the evil cretins who want to build this disgraceful mosque wish we would.

There were many great speakers at yesterday’s rally, but what really impressed me is the quality of the everyday people who took time from their busy lives in order to stand up for decency, fairness, and the American way of life. These people are on the front lines in the war with radical Islam and political correctness. Notice that I include ‘political correctness’ along with radical Islam because political correctness allows for this type of outrage to even be considered.

The Left has worked long and hard to control the speech and thought of everyday Americans. They have done it by methodically integrating their beliefs and values into American culture and education. They have made many simple truths and observations almost criminal. They have sought to intimidate people from saying, and even thinking certain things. They have made it their mission to control the language, and therefore to control the debate on most of today’s major issues.

Radical Islam, besides being extremely evil, is also very in tune to the phenomenon called political correctness. Like our Constitution and legal system, radical Islam uses political correctness as a shield and sword against the infidels of the West.

The people at yesterday’s rally get it! They know what the Islamists are trying to do and say by building this disgraceful mosque on the very site where  almost 3000 people were killed in the name of their sick “religion.” The people at yesterday’s rally aren’t afraid of being called racists, or bigots, or anti-Islam. They don’t fall into the deadly trap that is political correctness!

I haven’t yet commented about the proposed building of this “Super Mosque” because others have covered it fully and have done a great job doing so. Special kudos go out to Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch. Ms. Geller and Mr. Spencer were present at the Community Board meeting voicing their outrage over this sickening proposal.

After Community Board 1 approved this plan by a vote of 29 to 1, I could no longer resist putting my two cents in.

First off, the proposal to build this Mosque in this particular location is a disgrace of colossal proportions. It is nothing less than a giant Muslim middle finger thrust right into the face of America and Western Civilization. It is a way for Islam to beat their chests in celebration over the destruction of an American icon, while replacing it with a symbol of Islamic victory and superiority over the West. You gotta hand it to these people; they sure have an abundance of chutzpah! But hey, it’s easy to be a bully when you’re dealing with cowards.

Some want us to forget this - NEVER!

What is just as sickening as the proposed building of this Mosque is the fact that they want to use September 11^th 2011 as the grand opening. That’s right; on the tenth anniversary of the Muslim terrorist attacks, the super Mosque will open while there is still nothing but a gigantic hole where the Twin Towers stood. The symbolism is as clear as it is evil! While the families and friends of the victims hold their annual memorial to read the names of the murder victims, they will have to endure the opening of this Mosque.

Simply Despicable!

The members of Community Board 1 are the very reason why radical Islam (is there any other kind?) has become so emboldened. They and others who share their cowardly politically correct mindsets are the reason why Muslims would even dare to propose such a morally disgusting and reprehensible project. The members of Community Board 1 are a bunch of pathetic self-hating weasels that seem to be hell-bent on the destruction of their culture and their very freedom. They are the same appeasers who have historically looked the other way rather than looking right into the face of unspeakable evil and confronting it.

This is the message from Islam to the West that the ground zero Mosque represents.

One of these weasels is Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer. By the way, Borough Presidents (NY City has five) have no real governmental power or function. These positions are nothing more than a waste of taxpayer money. They are nothing more than convenient stepping stones for Democrat politicians towards higher elected positions. Anyway, Mr. Stringer (Democrat – of course) attended the Community Board meeting in support of the proposed Mosque. According to the NY Post, the slimy little weasel made the following statement before the meeting standing in front of the proposed site: “What we’re rejecting here is outright bigotry and hatred.” According to the same story, a Catholic Priest by the name of Kevin Madigan from nearby St. Peter’s Church agreed with Mr. Stringer. He was quoted as saying the following: “I think they need to establish a place such as this for people of goodwill from mainline Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths so we can come together to talk.” Even though I was born and raised a Roman Catholic, the idiotic Madigan is one of the reasons that I no longer want anything to do with the Catholic Church. The Church has become just another arm of the progressive movement. I don’t believe that Churches (and all religious institutions) should have tax-exempt status; separation of Church and State – right? That’s for another time and another post.

Fortunately, Community Board 1 doesn’t have the final say or authority to approve the Mosque plan. The vote is pretty much only symbolic, and is supposed to represent the community.

On Sunday June 6^th, people who actually give a damn about the future of our country and western civilization will converge on the proposed Mosque site to protest this sickening idea. Freedom loving citizens from all over the world will join SIOA (Stop Islamization of America) to show the Muslim world that there are still people who will fight the evil and forceful expansion of their “religion.” Islam has plenty of real estate around the world, it doesn’t need North America, and frankly, North America doesn’t need it. If you’re in the NYC area please come down and show your support.

Nothing short of a Tsunami or a 8.0 earthquake will prevent me from attending!

For a day and a half after the low-life terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab failed to deliver radical Islam’s Christmas present to the United States, the Obama administration didn’t have much to say on the subject. I guess it’s understandable to imagine the difficulty in formulating a response from an exclusive golf course in Hawaii, but on December 27^th we finally heard from Obama’s DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.

They would have been better off remaining silent.

The pathetically inept Napolitano told CNN that “there is no suggestion that the suspect was improperly screened” and that “the system worked.” If the system is based on airline passengers taking down and restraining al Qaeda trained terrorists in mid flight, then the system worked perfectly. Otherwise, Napolitano should be fired immediately.

Just when you think that her stupidity and incompetence couldn’t get any worse, she goes on to say that “We have no indication that this is part of anything larger.” Really? There’s also no indication that she has a brain floating around in her bulbous cranium!

No Janet, there’s no indication of anything larger at all! Much like the Fort Hood murderer Nidal Malik Hasan, Abdulmutallab is probably just a lone nut who was driven off the deep end because there was no Halal food served on the flight.

Besides the fact that Abdulmutallab was already on a terrorist watchlist, his father told the State Department months ago that he was worried about his son’s radical religious views. It has also come to light that he was in contact with a well known radical cleric by the name of Anwar al-Awlaki, and that he may have taken bomb-making courses in Yemen. These classes aren’t electives, but core requirements in al Qaeda’s jihadist 101 curriculum.

With all of this being known about Abdulmutallab, he was still granted a visa and allowed to board an American based airline with a one-way ticket.

We’re so fortunate to have someone like Janet Napolitano in charge of our Homeland Security. Well done President Obama – another stellar cabinet appointment!

Which country treats the minority religion more fairly?

Which country grants the minority religion all of the freedoms and rights granted by their Judeo-Christian constitution?

No……the answer couldn’t be the Satanic United States of America!

The Copts were practicing their Christian faith in Egypt hundreds of years before the Muslims arrived. The Muslim conquest and annexation of Egypt from the Byzantine Empire was typically brutal; this brutality towards the Copts continues to this very day.

There is currently a sick campaign going on in Egypt to Islamitise Copt girls.  This campaign consists of kidnapping Copt girls and forcing them to convert to Islam and to take on Muslim husbands. Most of the time, the Copts are powerless to do anything because the Egyptian security forces and police are complicit with the Islamic Mubarak government.

Earlier this year, the Egyptian government started a mass campaign to kill all the pigs in Egypt. See my post: If Pigs Could Fly….Now’s the Time. This was supposedly done in response to the ever growing concern over the Swine Flu. Gimme a break – nobody is that stupid! The pig massacre was just another way to harass the Copts who farm the animals for food. As we all know, Muslims don’t eat pork and consider swine to be “unclean” animals.

Little is heard about Egypt’s treatment of their Christian minority in the Western media. Our media is too busy reporting on the non-existent “backlash” against Muslims in America after each and every terrorist act or attempt on our homeland.

To be fair, Egypt isn’t the only Islamic nation guilty of brutality and oppression against other religions. Saudi Arabia is another well known offender, but because the far-left and their allies in Congress and the White House won’t allow us to drill for our own oil supplies, we have to close our eyes and ears to their horrendous human-rights abuses against non-Muslims.

I wonder……is this what the Left means by Blood for Oil?

The Fort Hood terrorist attack has opened my eyes even further as to the horrific effect of political correctness on our military and our federal government as a whole. According to all accounts, Nidal Malik Hasan has been nothing but a trouble-making malcontent ever since he joined the U.S. Army, and has been written up numerous times over his career for his outlandish behavior. He was in Fort Hood because he was transferred from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center due to poor performance reviews. He was also reprimanded for proselytizing his Islamic faith to patients and fellow staff. He openly criticized American foreign policy and was outspoken in his opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He attended a Virginia Mosque at the same time as two of the 911 hijackers. Hasan was also on the radar of “federal law enforcement” for allegedly posting extremist jihadist writings on the internet. Some of these postings included his belief that suicide bombers were heroic.  And now, it has been reported that Hasan tried to contact an individual “associated” with Al Qaeda. The intelligence community had reportedly informed the Army of Hasan’s activities.

How did the United States Army handle this obvious jihadist time-bomb and what did they do to discipline him? Answer: They promoted him from Captain to Major a mere six months ago in May of 2009.

The red flags that were raised regarding Major Hasan were so huge that they could have been made into a pair of underwear for Rosie O’Donnell, but the U.S. Army chose to do nothing about it. All of Hassan’s commanding officers including the U.S. Army Chief of Staff George Casey Jr. should be fired from their posts and investigated for their failure to protect their troops from Muslim terrorists from within their own ranks.

I hate to say this, but it’s true; we are now at a point in our history where political correctness takes precedence over innocent human lives. Our government and most of our media seem to believe that it’s better to lose a dozen soldiers rather than be accused of being anti-Muslim. It’s more acceptable to lose human life than be attacked and sued by Muslim special interest groups in our own country.

If I had children, and they were of age to go into the military, I would strongly advise them against it. Our government better wise up before enlistment into the armed forces plummets to dangerous levels.

Knowing what I now know, I don’t have much faith that our government will tell us the entire truth about the Fort Hood terrorist attack. I believe that they’ll attempt to cover-up key parts of the investigation under the pretense of national security. The mainstream media will go along with it like the pathetic lap dogs that they are. The rest of us will become even more susceptible to a massive terrorist attack on our homeland.

But hey- what’s a few million lives compared to hurting the feelings of a few Muslims?
