Lance Berkman is officially a Yankee!

Berkman, who went 0 for 4 in his Yankee debut tonight, will be used mostly as a DH for the remainder of the season. However, I believe that Berkman will have a monster second half with the Yankees, and most likely become the regular firstbaseman next season. Teixeira is a solid defensive firstbaseman, but he doesn’t compare to Berkman. Although I’m a long time Yankee fan, I haven’t been a fan of many of their moves over the years. Getting Lance Berkman is a move that I believe will benefit the NY Yankees for years to come.

Presidential elections actually mean a lot more than any personal issues you may be experiencing at a given moment!

More and more, liberal-progressive federal judges are overruling the will of the people. The basis for most of their decisions has little to do with the constitution, and a lot to do with their personal view of fairness. They have taken it upon themselves to morph the U.S. Constitution into some “living & breathing” document that can be perverted to support whatever the politically correct flavor of the day happens to be. For this bunch, the Constitution is no more than an annoying obstacle that stands in the way of their social utopian fantasies.

Bolton’s ruling seems to have been entirely based on her idiotic opinion that legal “Hispanic” residents of Arizona would be “swept up” by the requirements for police to question people about their immigration status once they are stopped.

Give me a freakin break already!

The “legal” Hispanic residents of Arizona (or anywhere else in America) should be loyal to America, and not to illegal law-breakers with whom they happen to share a common birthplace or language. Too damn bad if some “legal” people are inconvenienced by having to prove their legal status. When Americans travel to Mexico, they’re required to have their passports and other identification on them at all times. Unlike SB 1070, the Mexican authorities don’t even need a reason to ask foreigners for their papers. I may give a damn when I hear the “legal” Mexican immigrants complain about the unfairness of the Mexican system, but until then, I don’t!

Hopefully, this sickening ruling and the behavior of the Obama Justice Department will result in the following:

• More people will get off their fat asses this November to throw the congressional Liberal/Progressives out of power once and for all.

• This will finally embolden fence-sitting so-called Independents to come over to the right side and take a stand for once in their lives.

• Average law-abiding, tax-paying Americans will realize that the liberal ruling class in this country doesn’t give a rat’s ugly ass about them.

• America’s sleeping majority will finally wake up and take their country back!

The Democrats (a.k.a. pathological liars) and their allies in the mainstream media have been pretty successful in claiming that Republicans don’t want to extend unemployment benefits. As we all know, the Republicans just want the benefits to be paid for by cutting other spending. When the Democrats rejected that common sense proposal, the Republicans suggested that the billions upon billions of unspent “stimulus” dollars be used; Democrats rejected that proposal as well. They actually claimed with a straight face that the “stimulus” is for creating new jobs.

The fact of the matter is that the stimulus has never been about creating jobs or quick-starting the economy. The stimulus has always been nothing more than an Obama/Democrat slush fund. The main reason that less than half of the $787 billion emergency stimulus has been spent is because Obama and the Democrats are saving it for the 2010 and 2012 elections. This October, a large chunk of that unspent stimulus cash will be released. It will go to big city Obama loyalists. It will be used as get out the vote money. It will be used to fund the extensive voter fraud that the Democrats are so known and loved for. It will be used to fool the ignorant masses into believing that Democrat policies are working.

Using this money (stimulus) to extend unemployment benefits without further adding to the deficit? Come on… that’s an outrageous idea that only racist Obama haters could possibly come up with!

Win or lose this November, another large chunk (a much larger one) will be spent in order to get Barack Hussein Obama reelected in 2012. All of the remaining stimulus money will suddenly be used up during the last six months before November 2012. They won’t leave one red cent in the stimulus piggybank!

Predictably, the Republican Party has been pretty ineffectual in getting the truth out about the Democrat’s shameless shenanigans. It’s all been left up to certain elements within Fox News and the alternative media to expose the truth about the politics being played with people’s unemployment benefits. I would wager a fortune that if people whose unemployment benefits are about to expire were polled on how best to extend the benefits, the vast majority would be for cutting other spending or using the stimulus money. Even many dummies probably realize that it will be harder to ever find a job if the deficit and national debt continues to expand at its current rate.

As always, the despicable liberals in the mainstream media are leaving out half the story in this debate. They are running interference for Obama and the Democrats. By doing this, they are hoping that they can turn the millions of unemployed and their families against the mean spirited Republicans, thus helping Democrats to keep control of the congress this November.

Shame on the Democrats and double shame on the media for exploiting this issue.

In yesterday’s post, I opined that Bloomberg should fire Ms. Batista-Schlesinger because she basically called everyone who is opposed to the evil Mega mosque plan racist. There is no way around that! If Sarah Palin is a racist because she dare speak out against this vile proposal, then it only stands to reason that this applies to all people who are against it! In fact, her tweet said “Whose hearts” and “Racist Hearts”, not Whose heart and Racist Heart. To me, this proves that the despicable Batista-Schlesinger meant that all who hold that view are racist.

Remember Mr. Bloomberg; the (s) at the end of Heart means plural. In other words, she wasn’t just referring to Sarah Palin, but to all who disagree with her! That includes me and millions of other New Yorkers who believe that the Ground-Zero mosque is a hateful and provocative project!

Bloomberg went on to say that he didn’t agree with Batista-Schlesinger in regards to Palin (and the rest of us – I guess) being racists. However, he did it in his usual underhanded way by taking the opportunity to defend the mosque plan as a matter of “religious freedom.”

Here’s what I mean.

Bloomberg: “In terms of her comments on Sarah Palin, I don’t agree at all. But I certainly agree that freedom of speech is just as important as freedom of religion.”

This pompous elitist attempts to supposedly defend Palin while justifying his gung-ho support for the mosque project.

Bloomberg also comes out and admits that Ms. Batista-Schlesinger is a far left-winger.

He said: “You know, anybody that’s read Andrea Batista Schlesinger’s book ‘The Death Of Why?’ should know what her views are. I’ve always tried to have an administration with people from all the ends of the political spectrum and everything in the middle.”

Really Mr. Bloomberg? Would you please let all of us know the name of the Conservative who is part of your administration? Conservative, Mr. Bloomberg – not Republican! Is there anyone in your administration who is an open supporter of the Tea Party movement, or of Sarah Palin? The answer is a resounding big fat NO!

The bottom line is that Bloomberg is a thin skinned statist who doesn’t take well to anyone questioning his all-encompassing wisdom. Bloomberg has set himself firmly with the Islamists who want to pour rock salt on the wounds of all the families and friends of the 9/11 victims. To hide from his cowardice, (God forbid he go against anything Islam wants!) Bloomberg has tried to use the concept of religious freedom as a smokescreen; the very same concept that simply doesn’t exist in Islamic nations.

Mayor Bloomberg, if you want to keep Ms. Batista-Schlesinger in your administration, at least order her to apologize to the people you both supposedly serve for calling them racists. Once again, I won’t hold my breath.

Shortly after, an aide to NYC mayor/king Michael Bloomberg responded with two of her own tweets. The aide is a woman by the name of Andres Batista-Schlesinger. This woman seems to be just as pompous and ignorant as her liberal elitist boss. Before joining the Bloomberg administration regime, Schlesinger worked for the liberal think-tank, Drum Major Institute. Whoa…what a surprise!

In response to Palin’s tweets, Batista-Schlesinger tweeted the following:

Whose hearts? Racist hearts?

I would like to ask Ms. Batista-Schlesinger who the hell appointed her to speak for New Yorkers. You don’t speak for me, Ms. Schlesinger! You don’t speak for the majority of New Yorkers who oppose this evil mega-mosque plan! Furthermore, how dare you imply that people who are opposed to this sick plan are racist! Is this the only way you leftists know how to debate? You are just another self-loathing liberal elitist who’s tall on arrogance and short on brains – you’re disgusting! As a New Yorker, I’m outraged that my tax dollars go to pay your salary.

While Ms. Batista-Schlesinger is telling Sarah Palin to mind her own business, I’d like to take this opportunity to tell her boss, Michael Bloomberg, to do the same.

Hey Bloomberg; stop telling New Yorkers what to eat and drink! Stop telling restaurants how they should cook their food! Stop telling people how to run their lives! Stop sticking your nose in the business of other states in regards to their gun laws! Why don’t you try taking the advice that your aide gave Mrs. Palin, and Mind Your Own Business for a change!

The gutless Batista-Schlesinger has since removed her two tweets. Mr. Bloomberg should fire Ms. Batista- Schlesinger for inferring that the majority of New Yorkers are racist. He should be outraged that someone who works for his office would use the “race card” to further fuel the already intense fire over this mega-mosque issue. If Ms. Batista-Schlesinger had an ounce of integrity, she would do everyone a favor and resign her taxpayer funded post. I won’t hold my breath!

The man was pushing the machine back and forth squirting liquid over the filthy floor, and then using the circular brushes to spread and scrub the detergent in. I then noticed that there was a man sleeping on a nearby bench with his feet dangling on to the floor. I thought it amusing when the bravely meticulous MTA worker actually woke the man up to ask him to lift his feet so he could clean that area. Surprisingly, the man complied immediately without a problem.

Suddenly another MTA worker came down the stairs at the end of the platform and approached the worker who was cleaning the floors. They greeted each other then went into a conversation that I was able to hear word for word due to the quiet emptiness of the station. Not having anything better to do, I listened closely.

After some initial small-talk, the second MTA employee asked the guy working the machine if he would be agreeable to an idea where current MTA employees would give $5 a week to go for MTA employees who have been laid off. The man explained that they (I’m guessing MTA union) were asking around to see how others felt about the proposal. He explained that it would amount to a $10 deduction per bi-weekly paycheck.

I could see by the body language of the first guy that he wasn’t crazy about the idea. He took several seconds before he gave this ineloquent yet straight forward answer which I immediately stored into my Smartphone.

 “I feel bad for the people who are laid off, but I have to take care of my shit too!”

I guess the second guy took it as a no, and walked back up the stairs and out of sight. The first guy cleaning the platform shot me a quick look; the kind of look when you realize that someone may have been listening to your conversation. I nonchalantly stared towards the tunnel pretending to be oblivious.

So much for looking out for your fellow union members! I was a lot more amused than I was surprised.

I BODLY PREDICT THAT OBAMA WILL ATTEMPT TO TAKE CREDIT FOR FINALLY CAPPING THE BP OIL WELL AFTER 86 DAYS!

Seriously, how long will it take before Obama’s sycophants and lackeys in the media start spinning about the great success with which Obama handled the crisis. Morons like Kirsten Powers will come on Fox News and tell us with a straight face that without Obama’s leadership the crisis would have been much worse. They’ll most likely bring up George Bush’s response to Katrina and proclaim that Obama did a far better job in managing a catastrophe. In comparing Katrina with the BP fiasco, they’ll point out that the BP situation was far more challenging than Katrina.

After BP received all of the criticism for the spill, they’ll get absolutely no credit whatsoever for fixing it. Instead, Obama will probably go on TV and pat himself on the back for the leadership that he provided in finally capping the well. He’ll also take that opportunity to once again push for his outrageous Cap & Trade legislation. He’ll try to convince the dummies of America that initiating Cap & Trade will prevent further environmental accidents.

If only the rest of life were as predictable as this bunch in the White House and Media, I’d be 10 times wealthier than Bill Gates and Warren Buffet combined. Unfortunately, the only thing that I’m really good at predicting is the behavior of morons and radical left-wing liberals.

One such person is the colossally inept Kirsten Powers. For those who never heard of her, this walking monument to stupidity is a “Fox News Contributor” who can be seen on the supposed conservative station more often than flies on a turd. The only difference is that both the flies and the turd have a higher IQ than Ms. Powers.

Powers is a long time Democrat Party activist who prepares for her appearances by reading the talking points from the DNC and the White House. For a supposed “political analyst” she shows about as much analytical ability as Rocky Balboa.

Recently this dimwit was “contributing” to America Live hosted by Megyn Kelly. The subject was the New Black Panther voter intimidation story. The predictable Powers pooh-poohed the Black Panther story saying that too much was being made of it. She also claimed that the Panther in question (Shabaaz) holding the billy-club wasn’t intimidating because people were still walking past him to vote. Is this woman for real, or what? I would wager that Ms. Powers is the type that runs across the street when she sees a black man in a suite and tie walking towards her; much less a black man holding a weapon in his hands. Typical limousine-liberal hypocrite!

Anyway, Megyn Kelly made mince meat out of this incompetent boob! Predictably, Powers went right into her “Bush did it too” – “Bush was worse” routine. In answer to the charge that the Obama/Holder Justice Department did nothing about this crystal clear case of voter intimidation, she claimed that they did so by slapping the Black Panther with an injunction. Oooooooh…an injunction!

Megyn Kelly pointed out that this “injunction” prevents the Black Panther from standing in front of a polling place in the city of Philadelphia for the upcoming 2012 presidential election. Damn that Holder is tough when it comes to enforcing the Voters Rights Act!

By the way; I’m really sick and tired of all the Democrat Urban Legend Myths that are constantly spewed by the likes of Kirsten Powers and her ilk. One of these myths is that white Republicans intimidated blacks into not voting during the 2000 election. There has yet to be one person to step forward and officially make that claim. Where are the mainstream media interviews with all these victims? I’m tired of it already! Also, the very thought of a white Republican in a blue suit and red tie intimidating blacks from going into a polling station is laughable! Oh yeah…I almost forgot, the RNC hired the Hell’s Angels to do their dirty work – right Kirsten?

What the hell is Kirsten Powers doing being a contributor on Fox News anyway? I was under the impression that Fox News was an extreme right-wing organization that doesn’t give equal time to the opposition. The fact is that Fox News has more Liberal contributors than I can stomach; and this Kirsten Powers dumbbell has to be the absolute worst of the bunch!

Question for Fox News: What does a person have to do to become a contributor?

Mel Gibson allegedly said the following in a secretly recorded conversation with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, with whom he’s currently involved in a heated custody battle over their 20 month daughter, Lucia.

“You’re an embarrassment to me, you look like a fucking pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of niggers, it will be your fault.”

The leader of the Philadelphia chapter of The New Black Panther Party, Minister King Samir Shabazz (aka Maurice Heath) said the following:

“You want freedom? You’re gonna have to kill some crackers! You’re gonna have to kill some of their babies!”

Gibson is an Actor/Director who makes a movie about once every 3 or 4 years; no one is compelled to watch his films.

Shabazz is a political activist who stood in front of a Philadelphia polling station on Election Day of 2008 attempting to intimidate white voters and poll workers. Shabazz also seems to have some friends in very high places, otherwise he’d probably be preaching in a federal prison yard somewhere. As you can see from the video, Shabazz has absolutely no fear of spewing his anti-white hatred in full view of the public.

Originally, the U.S. Department of Justice looked into this clear-cut case of voter intimidation; but the case was abruptly dropped when Eric Holder became the AG. Whistleblower and former Justice Department attorney, J. Christian Adams, resigned over the blatant race-based decision to not prosecute the Philadelphia New Black Panthers. Adams claimed that the DOJ is openly following a policy of not pursuing civil-rights crimes where Whites and Asians are the alleged victims. I don’t believe it! That doesn’t sound like something Eric Holder or Barack Hussein Obama would tolerate – does it?

Predictably, the mainstream media is having a field day reporting on the Mel Gibson fiasco, but their coverage of the New Black Panthers has been sparse to non-existent. About the only TV media outlet covering the New Black Panther story has been Fox News. This fact hasn’t been lost on the National Chairman of The New Black Panther Party, Malik Shabazz, (Another Shabazz? Is this a family business?) who told a Russian TV reporter that Fox News was “stoking racial fears” by reporting on the DOJ handling of the New Black Panther Party. Shabaaz also claimed that “the Fox News audience was made up of mostly white right wingers, some independents, confederates and racist organizations and that their base are mostly dissatisfied whites who want to take back America.”

Shabazz was also nice enough to warn the Tea Party that “We’re ready to rumble.”

And Mel Gibson is a raving racist wacko?

Mel Gibson doesn’t try to prevent people from voting. Mel Gibson doesn’t stand on a street corner with a microphone and spew anti-black venom. Mel Gibson doesn’t advocate killing blacks and their babies.

Mel Gibson may very well be an angry violent drunk, an asshole, and a heel, but he doesn’t seem to pose a danger to anyone who isn’t involved in a relationship with him. Gibson doesn’t attempt to infringe on people’s civil rights! It’s well within the realm of possibility that Mel Gibson is a racist, but it’s a 100% certain that the New Black Panthers are!

While skimming through the coverage of the Mel Gibson tape, (CNN Headline News with Nancy Grace) I heard a black female attorney say that “his (Gibson) racial tirades are going to have to be addressed.” What the hell does that mean – addressed? Last I checked, Gibson, Malik Shabaaz, and anyone else for that matter, still have the right of free speech. Should the racial tirades of the Black Panther Party also be “addressed?” This type of speech is far more frightening to me than either Gibson’s or the Black Panther Party’s!

Yet another clown who was discussing the Gibson case went out of his way to call him a “conservative.” I suppose that this finally proves those Conservatives and Tea Party participants are Racists – ooooh you really got us there pal!

These mainstream media buffoons don’t seem to care nearly as much about the alleged physical abuse by Gibson against Oksana Grigorieva as they do about his use of the word nigger. I guess that we’ve finally come to a time in our country when words speak louder than actions. Punching your girlfriend and the mother of your child in the face (allegedly knocking out her teeth) is one thing, but uttering the “N-word” – now that’s crossing the line! That’ll have to be “addressed.”

It’s getting sicker and sicker by the day!
