NBC Channel 4 News at 6:00 just led off their broadcast with an extremely important, yet sad story of a mosque in Bethpage, NY being shut down by the town just as the “holy month” of Ramadan was about to begin. They reported the story with the seriousness and furrowed brows that one would expect from reporting on a national disaster.

That’s right; on the tenth anniversary of the Muslim terrorist attacks, the super Mosque will open while there is still nothing but a gigantic hole where the Twin Towers stood. The symbolism is as clear as it is evil! While the families and friends of the victims hold their annual memorial to read the names of the murder victims, they will have to endure the opening of this Mosque.

While flipping through the channels today, I briefly stopped on one of the local network news affiliates. The reporter was in shopping mall parking lot doing the same ole predictable holiday season story. But this time with a slight twist. The moron went up to a couple to ask the usual ‘are you going to spend more or less on this year’s holiday shopping as opposed to last year.’
